The Tea Party movement began last year as a series of grassroots protests against perceived overspending in Washington and it’s still going strong. It now consists of hundreds of loosely linked groups across the country.
With recent victories by Tea Party-backed candidates in primaries (some of whom, like Delaware Senate nominee Christine O’Donnell, have been rejected by the Republican establishment), the groups face their biggest political test in November.
What do you think the Tea Party’s success means, and can it be sustained long term? Do you consider yourself part of the Tea Party? Put yourself on video and send us your thoughts. Or send us your photos and video if you’re at a Tea Party rally or event.
