Deputy PM and Interior Minister Ivica DaÄić said in Shenzhen on Thursday that Serbia was “a loyal partner to China”. He also added that the good political relations between the two countries should be accompanied by good economic, cultural and police cooperation, according to a Tanjug news agency report.

Serbian Deputy PM and Interior Minister Ivica DaÄić and Chinese Minister of Public Security Meng Jianzhu signed a cooperation agreement. The agreement was signed on Tuesday in Beijin, and concerns the interior ministries of the two countries, MUP said in a statement.

Slovak Deputy Prime Minister DuÅ¡an ÄŒaploviÄ says that a Slavic language should become one of the EU official languages, beside French and English. Deputy PM and Associated Pensioners’ Party of Serbia (PUPS) leader Jovan Krkobabić says he will not agree to a reduction of pensions at any cost. “The government now believes that a pension reduction and VAT increase are not an option. In any case, I will not step back from this policy at any cost,†he said in an interview with daily Novosti.
