DaÄić: Serbia loyal partner to China
Deputy PM and Interior Minister Ivica DaÄić said in Shenzhen on Thursday that Serbia was “a loyal partner to China”. He also added that the good political relations between the two countries should be accompanied by good economic, cultural and police cooperation, according to a Tanjug news agency report.
Serbian, Chinese police to cooperate
Serbian Deputy PM and Interior Minister Ivica DaÄić and Chinese Minister of Public Security Meng Jianzhu signed a cooperation agreement. The agreement was signed on Tuesday in Beijin, and concerns the interior ministries of the two countries, MUP said in a statement.

First Deputy PM and Interior Minister Ivica DaÄić will start a several-day visit to China this Monday. During the visit, DaÄić will sign a cooperation agreement with the Chinese Ministry of Public Security, the Serbian Interior Ministry (MUP) said.

Äelić promotes book on sustainable development
Deputy PM in charge of EU integration Božidar Äelić on Wednesday in Belgrade promoted a book which reports said he “conceived”. Äelić – who is also minister of science in the Cvetković cabinet – presented the book, entitled, “Sustainable Development – Our Common Future” to the vistors and reporters at the 54th International Book Fair.
DaÄić on visit to Sandžak region
First Deputy PM and Interior Minister Ivica DaÄić on Friday visited Novi Pazar in Sandžak (the RaÅ¡ka District), in southwestern Serbia. The situation in that region is stable but that there is latent danger of sudden incitement to instability, Tanjug quoted DaÄić as saying.
Krkobabić to fight for pensions “at all costs”
Deputy PM and Associated Pensioners’ Party of Serbia (PUPS) leader Jovan Krkobabić says he will not agree to a reduction of pensions at any cost. “The government now believes that a pension reduction and VAT increase are not an option. In any case, I will not step back from this policy at any cost,†he said in an interview with daily Novosti.
