President: Serbia ready for dialogue
Serbian President Boris Tadić has stated that Serbia is prepared for the dialogue with Priština.
He also pointed out that EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Catherine Ashton had already been informed about it.
Kosovo dialogue “not to return to status”
The EP rapporteur for Kosovo says the recently adopted resolution “envisages that Serbia should start dialogue with Kosovo without initiating status talks”.

Russian envoy pessimistic about dialogue

North Korea renews call for dialogue
North Korea reiterated its call for talks with South Korea, seeking an end to the confrontation on the peninsula, the Yonhap news agency reported on Sunday.
“Dialogue and negotiations are the only just way for independently solving the issue of the country’s reunification by the concerted efforts of the Koreans,” the agency said quoting the statement made by the North Korean authorities.
“Entire region would benefit from dialogue”
Czech FM Karel Schwarzenberg said that talks between Belgrade and PriÅ¡tina “would benefit the citizens of Serbia and Kosovo”, as well as the entire region.

Defense Minister Dragan Å utanovac Belgrade’s Blic daily that no incidents are expected in Kosovo when the dialogue between Belgrade and PriÅ¡tina starts. The dialogue should start as soon as possible, he said.

Thaci: Report putting dialogue at risk
Kosovo Albanian PM Hashim Thaci told B92 that Council of Europe Rapporteur Dick Marty’s report linking him to human organ trade was not true.
He stressed that the report represented an attack on the upcoming dialogue between Belgrade and Priština.
“Report no obstacle to Kosovo dialogue”
The Marty report should not be an obstacle to the start of dialogue between Belgrade and PriÅ¡tina, believes Jelko Kacin. Brussels expects dialogue after election
EU foreign policy chief Catherine Ashton will inform EU foreign ministers about preparations for the Belgrade-Priština dialogue. According to reports, she will also inform the ministers about the effort made by the union in order for that dialogue to take place.
IM expects speedy dialogue with Priština
Serbian Interior Minister Ivica Dacic expects that peace will be preserved in Kosovo after the elections and that dialogue will begin as soon as possible.

“Serbia ready for dialogue for weeks”
Serbian Foreign Minister Vuk Jeremić said on Wednesday that Serbia has been ready for dialogue with PriÅ¡tina “for weeks”. He expressed hope that once the election process in Kosovo is over, the conditions will be secured in PriÅ¡tina too for the start of the dialogue.

Kosovo Albanian PM Hashim Thaci has underscored that the dialogue with Belgrade will, most likely, start in February.
He also said that the Serb-populated north of Kosovo will not be a topic of the talks.
FM: Priština not ready for dialogue
FM Vuk Jeremić says that Serbia had developed a strategy for its dialogue with Priština, which, he said, is still not ready to start the dialogue with Belgrade.
“So it seems according to the information we receive from our partners in the international community. Although we believe that it would be better for all of us to start the talks as soon as possible, we will be patient,†Jeremić said in an interview published by Blic today.
FM: Kosovo dialogue in line with state policy
Foreign Minister Vuk Jeremić says the Belgrade-PriÅ¡tina dialogue will be carried out “in keeping with the UN mandate”.
“Serbia will negotiate in keeping with its state policy adopted by in parliament,” he told Jagodina’s Palma Plus TV late on Thursday.
