Serbian MPs have begun a general debate on the government draft budget for 2011.
The government is planning on spending RSD 120.5bn more than it will earn. Envisaged revenue is RSD 724.4bn, while expenditures should be RSD 844.9bn.
Minister to discuss Marty’s report with EU officials

Taiwan will formally start talks with Singapore on a trade accord early next year after signing an agreement with China in June.

“Singapore and Chinese Taipei have always enjoyed close relations,” the statement said. Taiwan isn’t recognised as fully independent by international organisations such as the World Trade Organization, which calls it “Chinese Taipei”.
UN SC to discuss Kosovo on Tuesday
The UN Security Council will convene on Tuesday in New York for a session on Kosovo, with Foreign Minister Vuk Jeremić in attendance.
Jeremić will present Serbia’s stance following the advisory opinion of the International Court of Justice (ICJ), and UNMIK Chief Lamberto Zannier will submit his quarterly report on the situation in Kosovo, the Serbian Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
Parliament to discuss Kosovo next week
The Serbian parliamentary is expected to hold a meeting to discuss the Kosovo situation next week.
The meeting could be held on Monday, Parliament Speaker Slavica Äukić-Dejanović said.
