heading out on the road with Yuka C.
Honda in support of their 2010 release Initiate. The tour includes stops in Seattle, Portland, Arcata,
San Francisco, Felton, LA, and NY.

Initiate, in a beautifully designed, six-panel digipak featuring Simon Norfolk’s gorgeous photographs of
the world’s largest machine (the Large Hadron Collider at CERN) is Cline’s first double album and, with its second
disc culled from a September 2009 performance at Cafe du Nord in San Francisco, the Singers’ first live album.

announced the details of an epic world tour that will take him all over the United States and Europe. The tour
starts January 20 in Pawtucket, RI and includes several multi-night stands in Philadelphia, New York, Nashville,
Austin, Seattle, Ft. Lauderdale, San Francisco, and West Hollywood. All shows from March 13 through May 21 are

Chicago’s Smith Westerns
will release its sophomore LP, Dye It Blonde, on Fat Possum on Jan. 18. The first single from the
record is “Weekend” which fans can listen to here.

The record was produced by Chris Coady (Yeah Yeah Yeahs, !!!, TVOTR, Beach House, etc.) in New York
City. The
band is currently in Europe on tour with MGMT, and today announced a slew of early 2011 dates, including two NYC
dates in Jan and later dates with the UK band and Fat Possum labelmates Yuck.

When you’ve recorded eight studio albums over fifteen years, there’s bound to be songs that have been forgotten.
The Handsome Family has
revisited their past and gathered up these treasures; a smattering of covers, alternate takes, unreleased songs and
bits of their history and put them together on the self-released Scattered: A Further Collection of Lost
Demos, Orphaned Songs and Odd Covers which the band will support with a tour beginning in early
January.

Fans of Rennie and Brett Sparks’ haunting and hauntingly beautiful stories in song will be delighted to know that

ready to load the old 1927 upright into Panthro (the van) to play dates all over the States and Canada in the coming
months. For these upcoming shows, Marco returns to Canada after appearing at a number of festivals up across the
border this summer, he hits New England at the peak of Fall foliage, performs in Asheville and Charlotte, NC for the
first time ever with his own band.

He also plays two rare solo piano shows in Asbury Park and Brooklyn, brings
the post
rock for the post Phish phreaks in Atlantic City with friends Billy Martin and Marc Friedman and finishes out the year
on the West Coast, including two of his favorite rooms, The Independent in SF and Doug Fir in Portland. Last but not
least, he’ll be with Surprise Me Mr.
Davis on New Year’s Eve to ring in 2011 at Cafe Du Nord.

Foals: U.S. Tour & New Video

TOUR STARTS TONIGHT; NEW VIDEO FOR “2 TREES”

Tonight’s Minneapolis show is the first of a 22 city tour of North America for Oxford quintet, Foals. The tour will find the band
passing through such cities as Chicago, New York, Los Angeles and Seattle, with stops in Austin to play this year’s
ACL festival on October 10. See below for a full list of confirmed tour dates. Accompanying the band on these
block of dates, are fellow Brit rockers/newly signed Matador band Esben and the Witch.

In other Foals news, the band has a new video for their song “2 Trees.” Check it out below.

Giant Panda Guerilla Dub Squad West Coast Tour In Progress

New York’s Giant Panda Guerilla Dub Squad just launched their own live music website on September 2. The site offers fresh live recordings for purchase and free downloads. LIVE UP!! Volume II is the first LivePanda.com release, consisting of ten tracks recorded during March and April 2010. Special guest Mike Tallman of Euforquestra plays guitar on “Ok.”

GPGDS kicked off a West Coast tour with Australia’s The Beautiful Girls on September 20 in Seattle.

Marco Benevento: Fall Tour Dates

SOUNDTRACKS, SOLO SHOWS AND TRIOS
KEYBOARD KID HAS A HAND IN IT ALL

Marco Benevento will tour the U.S. and Canada this Fall in support of his latest release, Between The Needles & Nightfall. The run begins with four nights in Canada and five nights in New England. The stretch includes a stop at the Massachusetts Museum Of Contemporary Art where Benevento will reprise his new score to the ’60s cult film House Of Usher that he debuted in August at Celebrate Brooklyn. He’ll also play two rare solo piano shows in Asbury Park and New York City. Benevento rejoins his band in November, heading to North Carolina and Virginia for three shows, including his first headline appearance in Asheville at The Grey Eagle. The tour wraps with five nights on the West Coast, returning to Doug Fir Lounge in Portland for the second time this year, as well as a Saturday night at The Independent in San Francisco.

The Morning Benders: Tour Dates

NORTH AMERICAN RUN STARTS OCTOBER 9 IN DALLAS

The Morning Benders

The Morning Benders have
announced a string of Fall and Winter dates. After hitting Europe throughout September, the band will begin their
North American run on October 9 in Dallas, TX. From there, tour dates include stops in Tempe, Los Angeles, San
Francisco, Seattle, Portland, Denver, Chicago, Boston, Philadelphia, and more cities before ending on November 18 at
Webster Hall in New York City. The band will wrap up with a few New Years dates in Australia.

headlining Fall North American tour. Beginning in San Francisco, CA, on August 12 at the California Academy of
Sciences and culminating in a performance at The Casbah in San Diego, CA, on November 27.

In addition to all of these upcoming shows, Dawes recently recorded a live session with the fine folks over at
Yours Truly. Performing their heartfelt crowd favorite “When My Time Comes” as well as the track “If You

Isobel Campbell & Lanegan: New Album & Dates

HAWK RELEASE MARKS THIRD COLLABORATION WITH MARK LANEGAN

Isobel Campbell and
Mark Lanegan will kick off
their first ever North American tour beginning October 13 in Boston, MA. The tour will also include two shows in the
New York area, October 16 at The Bowery Ballroom and October 17 at the Music Hall in Williamsburg, Brooklyn.
Additional stops include Chicago, Minneapolis, Seattle and San Francisco. The tour will conclude with a performance
at the El Rey Theatre in Los Angeles on October 29. See full list of dates below.

Since departing the celebrated Scottish indie-pop outfit Belle and Sebastian in 2002, Isobel Campbell has released
several solo albums as well as critically acclaimed collaborations with former Screaming Trees frontman Mark
Lanegan. The August 24 release of Campbell’s haunting new album, Hawk, marks her third
release with Lanegan and debut album with Vanguard Records.

Produced by Campbell herself, Lanegan lends his signature blues-folk growl to eight of the album’s 13 tracks, while
singer-songwriter Willy Mason
guests on two. Former Smashing
Pumpkins guitarist James Iha appears on the track Â“You Won’t Let Me Down Again.Â” A music video for Â“You
Won’t Let Me Down AgainÂ” is currently in production.
