EU commissioner: Bosnia on right path

European Enlargement Commissioner Stefan Fuele said that Bosnia-Herzegovina is on the right road to achievement its visa liberalization this year. He called on the Bosnian government to continue with its reforms, changes in the constitution and election laws, in order to hold democratic elections in October.

EU commissioner backs Serbia’s integration

European Enlargement Commissioner Stefan Fuele on Wednesday emphasized the European Commission’s support to Serbia’s European integration. After meeting with Prime Minister Mirko Cvetković in Belgrade, Fuele told reporters that the discussion focused on the need to maintain the positive momentum in Serbia’s European integration achieved late last year. He also mentioned entering a new stage of European integration this year as a second strategic goal.

Rehn hands Đukanović EC questionnaire

European Enlargement Commissioner Olli Rehn has handed a European Commission questionnaire to Montenegrin Prime Minister Milo Đukanović. This is a mechanism through which the European Commission will evaluate Montenegro’s readiness to receive EU candidate status.
