DJ Henry Rollins in a one-
of-a-kind live event.
On Thursday, December 9 at 8pm, KCRW will present an exclusive listening party at the Echoplex which will serve as
a benefit for the station. Rollins has been searching his musical vaults and will come armed with top selections from
his personal music collection, some of which have never been heard before, to share with fans. In a living room-
style setting, anecdotes in tow, he’ll share a night of unforgettable tunes and stories.
“I will play stuff that I am unable to on my regular show, due to the rare nature of the material. I have been planning
the set for weeks and am so excited to be able to get some truly unique tracks to your ears,” said Rollins.
Absolutely no photography or recording of any kind will be permitted. In fact, not even KCRW will be recording the
event or presenting it at a later time on demand. Only those in attendance will share this special evening. Henry
joined the DJ team at KCRW in March 2009 and can be heard live on Saturdays from 6-8p PST and in the
archives here.

“You’re invited to “The Mossery,” a free-form musical event on the eve of the release of Mike Gordon’s new
studio album Moss. The event will take place at a fully transformed Kenny’s Castaway on Monday, October 18th in
New York City. There’s no cost to get in and you can come, explore and leave as you please. Guests will have the
chance to pick up Mike’s new album, Moss, which hits stores on Tuesday.
Attendees will have the opportunity to play along, with Mike on bass. We supply the instruments and mikes and you
show up. We can’t guarantee that everyone will get to (it’s first come, first served), but we’ll rotate as many willing
participants through as possible, because a rolling stone gathers no moss.
The first half of the event will start at 7:30pm and continue through 9:00pm, at which point we’ll rotate out all folks,
