Serbia will record an economic growth of three percent in 2011, according to the latest forecasts of the International Monetary Fund (IMF). Last year, the GDP growth was at 1.5 percent.

WBL Corp’s unit Multi-Fineline Electronix (MFLEX), the provider of high-quality, technologically advanced flexible printed circuit and value-added component assembly solutions to the electronics industry, says it expects to report net sales in the first quarter of $241 million in the first quarter of fiscal 2011 ended Dec 31, 2010, an increase of 5% from net sales of $229.5 million in the same quarter last year.
Gross margin during the first quarter of fiscal 2011 is expected to be 14.2%, compared to 15.9% for the same period in the prior year.

Brussels expects dialogue after election
EU foreign policy chief Catherine Ashton will inform EU foreign ministers about preparations for the Belgrade-Priština dialogue. According to reports, she will also inform the ministers about the effort made by the union in order for that dialogue to take place.
IM expects speedy dialogue with Priština
Serbian Interior Minister Ivica Dacic expects that peace will be preserved in Kosovo after the elections and that dialogue will begin as soon as possible.

Minister expects no pressure from Clinton
Defense Minister Dragan Å utanovac says that he expected no pressure from U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton during an announced visit to Belgrade.
“I think it is too early for me to talk about the visit and I still haven’t received final confirmation. I expect no pressure, just as there was no pressure during the visit of Mr [U.S. vice president Joseph] Biden,” Å utanovac told reporters.
EU expects dialogue to begin
European Foreign Affairs and Security Policies Chief Catherine Ashton stated that the EU expects dialogue between Belgrade and Priština and is ready to help. It was a great success for Serbian President Boris Tadić to present to the UN General Assembly a text supported by all 27 EU member-states, she told a press conference after an informal meeting of EU foreign ministers.
