Deer Tick has added Spring tour dates, including many appearances with Those Darlins and
Dr. Dog. The tour hits nearly every major American market, kicking off March 5 in Los Angeles and wrapping up May 5 in New York City.
After finishing a U.S. run with Neko Case late last year, the band completed a three week European tour and then entered the studio back in the States to put the finishing touches on their still-untitled third album, which will be released in the first half of this year.

Cisco pushes back the deadline for deciding whether to push forward with its $3.4 billion bid for video conferencing rival Tandberg. Cisco officials say they will decide soon after the Dec. 3 deadline whether they have the necessary support from Tandberg shareholders to go forward. Cisco initially offered $3 billion for Tandberg, but was met by opposition from Tandberg investors, who sought more money for the company.

Cisco Systems is extending the deadline for shareholders of Tandberg to accept its $3 billion offer for the Norwegian video conferencing company. The deadline is now Nov. 18.
