Liang Huat Aluminium, the designer, fabricator and installer of building facade and interior walls, says its wholly-owned subsidiary Aluminium Industries has been awarded a $7.2 million contract by Far East Organisation to design, supply, fabricate and install aluminium and glazing works to the Jardin condominium project. The contract is due to start in Dec 2009 and expected to complete by mid-2011. The award is expected to contribute to the group’s financial performance for FY2010. The group’s current gross order book stands at $68.8 million.
