Singapore-listed Pan Pacific Hotels Group (PPHG.SI) said on Thursday that it has agreed to buy Hilton Melbourne Airport Hotel for a total consideration of A$108.9 million ($141.4 million). Pan Pacific said in a statement to Singapore Exchange that the acquisition of the hotel, which has 276 rooms and is located at Melbourne’s Tullamarine airport, will be financed by bank borrowings and internal resources.

CapitaLand, Hotel Properties and their partners today unveiled d’Leedon, a residential development along Farrer Road on the site of the former Farrer Court. Singapore hotel owner CDL Hospitality Trusts <CDLT.SI> said on Friday that income available for distribution soared 44.6% in the third quarter after record hotel occupancy rates during the period.
The trust, which owns five hotels in Singapore, said occupancy rates soared to an unprecedented 91.6% in the third quarter.
It said income for distribution jumped to $26.94 million, up 44.6% from the year-ago period. The average revenue per room jumped to $199 from $152.
CDL Hospitality, which also owns hotels in Australia and New Zealand, is managed by a unit of City Developments <CTDM.SI>, Singapore’s and Southeast Asia’s second largest property firm after CapitaLand <CATL.SI>.
