In an apparent show of support for Google, several houses in Essen were pelted with eggs over the weekend, Deutsche Welle reports. The vandals singled out houses which were blurred in the company’s Street View service.

310 houses unsafe after earthquake

Interior Minister Ivica DaÄić said Friday that around 310 structures, mostly private homes, are not fit to live in after the earthquake early Wednesday. DaÄić said that around 1,130 structures have been inspected over the past two days, and specified that private homes account for 90 percent of the 4,000 structures damaged in the powerful earthquake.
