Minus the Bear are thrilled
to embark on a new headlining tour due to the overwhelming demand by fans and several months of sold-out tour
dates. Beginning October 18 in Eugene, OR, the Seattle based quintet will head out in continued support of their
latest album, Omni. The tour will also include a performance at this year’s Voodoo Music Festival
in New Orleans on October 31.

In addition, Minus the Bear will join Jimmy
Eat World
for a European tour this November, which will include performances at this year’s Reading, Leeds and

The 2010 Fall Jagermeister Music Tour is North America’s biggest thrash tour in

years with the 1991 original “Clash of the Titans” lineup – Slayer, Megadeth and Anthrax. The brand’s 17th Music
Tour will bring three of the hardest hitting metal bands in the world to one stage and will feature complete
performances of Slayer’s much lauded Seasons In The Abyss album from 1990, Megadeth’s landmark 1990
album Rust In Peace, and the return of Anthrax’s singer Joey Belladonna. The tour kicks off
September 24 and will play 20 venues across the nation.

“I’ve been working with Jagermeister since 2004 to try to make the first Jagermeister Music Tour Trifecta happen,”
said guitarist Kerry King of Slayer. “I always have such a killer time on the Jagermeister Music Tour, and
this time we’re coming through with Megadeth and Anthrax so you know everyone will be on the top of their game

On the heels of their recently completed summer run, the Playing For Change band returns to
North America this fall for a national tour which kicks off October 13, at McEwan Hall in Calgary. The fall tour
encompasses over 25 shows in major cities nationwide. The group will donate $1.00 of every ticket purchased to
the Playing For Change Foundation.

Their 2010 fall tour is highlighted by the addition of famed Senegalese guitarist Ilon Ba (Baaba Maal) to the
stellar Playing For Change band which includes percussionist Mohammed Alidu (Northern Ghana), vocalist
Clarence Bekker (Netherlands/Suriname), vocals/harmonica Grandpa Elliott (New Orleans),
vocals/percussionist Mermans Kenkosenki (DRC Congo), guitarist Jason Tamba (Kinshasa, the
capital of DRC Congo) and vocalist Titi Tsira (Gugulethu, African township in the Western Cape).

headlining Fall North American tour. Beginning in San Francisco, CA, on August 12 at the California Academy of
Sciences and culminating in a performance at The Casbah in San Diego, CA, on November 27.

up with fellow psych rockers The Black
Angels
for what promises to be the stand out co-headline tour this Fall. Beginning at Chicago’s Metro on
October 28, the “Dropout Boogie” tour rolls through 24 cities, before winding up in Vancouver on Nov 30. Both
bands new album releases coincide on Sept 14.

To mark the launch of the double header tour and simultaneous album releases, Ticketmaster is offering a pre-sale
starting Aug 4 where tickets can be purchased along with digital copies of both albums.

The band will be making some festival appearances in the coming months, performing at The Muddy River Jam in
Woodstown, NJ, Bear Creek Music Festival in Live Oak, FL, and the 11th Annual Summer Festival in Turin, NY.

Additional tour dates will be added in the next two weeks, including Midwest tour stops and additional Mid-Atlantic

announced plans for a fall tour, set to begin September 8 in Myrtle Beach. The tour will take him through
Tallahassee, Shreveport, Austin, New Orleans, Dallas, and other cities before ending on October 13 in Pittsburgh at
the Byham Theatre. Citizen Cope is currently on tour opening for O.A.R. through August 15.

Karnivool: North American Tour

FALL TOUR KICKS OFF AUGUST 6 IN VANCOUVER

Australia’s Karnivool are
currently wrapping up their sold out “New Day Tour” in Australia and are thrilled to announce that they’ll be
returning stateside next month for the North American leg. Named after the eight-minute epic from their recently
released full-length Sound Awake, the “New Day Tour” will commence August 6 in Vancouver
before looping the U.S. and ending in Los Angeles on September 13. Tampa’s Tides of Man will open for most of
the dates.

“It’s time for a good ol’ North American road trip again,” attests guitarist Drew Goddard. “Look for a big white van
full of weird Aussies with bad hair and guitars pulling up at a town near you.”

SIA boosts frequency on rebound in travel

Singapore Airlines, the world’s second-largest airline by market value, will add more flights to cities including Los Angeles and Moscow in response to a global rebound in travel.

Capacity to Russia and the U.S. will increase, with flights on the Singapore-Los Angeles and Singapore-Moscow-Houston sectors operating daily, the airline said in an e-mailed statement today. The new schedules are for the northern winter period of Oct. 31 to March 26, the airline said.
