Tiger Air inks financing deal with StanChart

Singapore budget carrier Tiger Airways said on Thursday it has signed a multi-million dollar financing deal with Standard Chartered Bank for pre-delivery payments (PDP) of 14 new aircraft.

“Standard Chartered Bank has been mandated to arrange and sole finance a Singapore dollar-denominated structured PDP financing arrangement for Tiger Airways,” the company said in a statement.

C & O Pharma Tech inks $6.4m deal to sell antiviral drug ingredient

Mainboard-listed C & O Pharmaceutical Technology (Holdings) says it has secured a sales contract which will bring in revenue of RMB32 million ($6.4 million) in three years.

This involves the exclusive distribution of C&O-developed Cidofovir Dihydrate in the US.

C & O Pharmaceutical says the distributor will be responsible to seek United States Food and Drug Administration approval of C&O’s Cidofovir Dihydrate.

Keppel Land inks JV deal for new waterfront site in Ho Chi Minh city

Keppel Land, through its wholly-owned subsidiary KLL Strategic Holdings (KLLSH), today signed a joint-venture agreement (JVA) with Vietnamese partner Tien Phuoc Co. to develop a 11-ha waterfront residential site for 175 villas fronting the Saigon River in Ho Chi Minh City.

Upon the issuance of investment certificate and relevant government approvals, KLLSH will take up a 60% stake amounting to US$27 million ($37.8 million) in the JV company while Tien Phuoc will subscribe to the remaining interest.

AMD Spinoff GlobalFoundries Inks STMicroelectronics

A week after breaking ground on a new $4.2 billion manufacturing plant in upstate New York, GlobalFoundries signs a deal to manufacture products for STMicroelectronics. GlobalFoundries, which AMD spun off in March, will manufacture products that will go into wireless and handheld devices as well as consumer electronics.
