Google Buzz, Latitude May Be Integrated, Google Says

Google will try different points of integration between Google Latitude and the new Google Buzz for mobile application. Cisco, Tandberg Give Glimpse of Integrated Road Map

Officials with both Cisco Systems and Tandberg say they expect to get the regulatory go-ahead in the first half of the year to complete the $3.4 billion acquisition of Tandberg. After the deal closes, Cisco will create a TelePresence Technology Group comprising several business units and will push for an integrated platform made up of both Cisco and Tandberg messaging and collaboration products. There also will be a focus on greater interoperability with Tandberg products and those of third parties.

AusGroup unit wins integrated services contract worth $6.5m per year

AusGroup says Australian subsidiary, AGC Industries, has been awarded a multi-disciplinary integrated services contract by Apache Energy.

The contract will consist of general and campaign services, and minor capital works at Apache’s Varanus Island facilities and offshore assets on the North West Shelf, off the coast of Western Australia.

The new contract will start in mid-January for an initial term of three years with two one-year options. The estimated total contract value will be in the order of A$5 million ($6.5 million) per annum.

Advanced Integrated Manufacturing unit wins $188m kitting contract from Honeywell

Advanced Integrated Manufacturing Corp. (AIM Corp) says its subsidiary AMC Penang Sdn Bhd, the integrated Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) provider in the aerospace and avionics industry, has won a kitting programme from Honeywell International Inc. worth up to US$135 million ($188 million) over five years.

The contract started on Dec 16 and will run for a period of five years till Dec 15, 2014. Honeywell has the option to extend this contract for an extra year.
