Iran told Western nations today that executions in the Islamic republic are none of their business. The United States on January 31 urged Iran to halt executions, with the U.S. State Department saying it was “particularly troubled” by the hanging of a Dutch-Iranian woman after she was denied consular access.

KFOR commander Markus Bentler says that the NATO-led mission will not interfere in the political processes in Kosovo. According to a Tanjug news agency report today, the German general pointed out that KFOR was impartial and that, according to UN SC Resolution 1244, its duty was to secure a safe environment in all parts of Kosovo.
