Capitaland to introduce 3,000 China residential units a year

Capitaland said it targets to introduce an average of 3,000 residential units in China annually as part of its growth strategy in the country.
 
The company, which has 36 shopping malls in operation in China, has another 16 under development, Singapore-based Capitaland said in presentation materials filed to the stock exchange today. It also plans to expand the number of its serviced residences to 12,000 units by 2015, from 6,246 currently.

Singapore central bank to introduce short-term bills from Q2 2011

Singapore’s central bank said on Thursday it will issue short-term bills next year, a fourth instrument for money markets, to help banks manage their liquidity.

LME, SGX Set to introduce mini metals futures in Asia: Update

The London Metal Exchange and Singapore Exchange. plan to introduce cash-settled metals futures contracts for individual investors that will be traded and cleared at the SGX, as the Singapore company is known.

Copper and zinc so-called mini-contracts may begin trading in the first quarter of next year, followed by other metals later in 2011, subject to clearance from regulators, according to a Singapore Exchange statement today. The new products, which may also include a contract for steel billet, will be priced off the contracts traded on the LME, the statement said.

“Serbia could introduce visas for black list countries”

Daily Danas writes that harmonizing the Serbian visa regime with the EU “means introducing visas for those countries which require EU visas”. “Serbia does not have to introduce visas for some countries which the EU has a strict visa regime for right after getting on the white Schengen list, but it would be good to do this as soon as possible,” former director of the government Office for European Integration Tanja Miščević told the Belgrade newspaper.
