Jeremić meets with Sweden’s Bildt

Foreign Minister Vuk Jeremić is today in Sweden, the country that currently holds the rotating EU presidency. Jeremić met with his Swedish counterpart Carl Bildt this morning, and will later hold talks with Minister for EU Affairs Cecilia Malstrom and International Development Minister Gunilla Karlsson.

Jeremić orders internal investigation

Foreign Minister Vuk Jeremić has ordered a probe after the media reported that Montenegro’s candidate for ambassador to Serbia was “unwelcome”. The “urgent investigation” will include “everyone”: from his cabinet chief to the ministry’s human resources clerks, Belgrade daily Večenje Novosti writes.

Jeremić meets with Luxembourg FM

Serbia’s strategic goal is EU membership and this is something she will not give up on, said FM Vuk Jeremić after meeting with his Luxembourg counterpart. Jeremić to meet Hungarian, Romanian FMs

Jeremić attending Non-Aligned summit

Jeremić said that Serbia would be battling against intense pressure on Non-Aligned member-states to recognize Kosovo’s unilateral independence declaration.

Jeremić in Egypt ahead of NAM summit

Foreign Minister Vuk Jeremić departed for Egypt this Monday, where he will attend a three-day summit of the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM). During the summit, Jeremić will hold separate bilateral meetings with Foreign Ministers of Egypt, Lebanon, Kuwait, Morocco, Thailand, China, Qatar, Ecuador, Singapore, Chile, Oman and Kenya, the Foreign Ministry stated.
