Hulaween shows at the famed Hampton Coliseum in Hampton, VA, keyboardist Kyle Hollingsworth is right back at
it one week later. Sunday, November 7, Kyle joins television’s hit children’s show Yo Gabba Gabba, live at
1st Bank Center in Broomfield, CO, bringing his own brand new children’s tunes with him. The following week, Kyle
Hollingsworth Band travels to the Midwest with St. Louis’ Messy Jiverson supporting all dates before heading to the East Coast to perform with Bonerama, Steve Kimock and Terrence Higgins (Dirty Dozen Brass
Band) for three nights as a special guest.
To wrap up 2010, Kyle will host Hoppy Holidays, a unique brew tour experience and blowout run with Kyle
Hollingsworth Band. DJ Logic and Liza Oxnard lend a hand to the party,
jumping on board with KHB at both Cervantes’ Masterpiece Ballroom in Denver, CO, and Hodi’s Half Note in Fort
Collins, CO. Once again, Kyle has teamed up with renowned local breweries to craft two signature beers – this time
with Boulder Beer and Avery Brewing – that will be available at each show. Hoppy Holidays will culminate in an
intimate finale charity evening at Avery Brewing in Boulder, CO to benefit Conscious Alliance – feeding people in
need and providing toys to underprivileged children. Avery Brewing tickets are extremely limited and all-inclusive,
featuring a Kyle Hollingsworth Band set, several Avery pints of beer, a collector’s custom pint glass, food provided
by Cheba Hut, access to an exclusive silent auction, and a toy drive for Conscious Alliance Hoppy Holidays

regretfully canceling the remainder of their scheduled US dates due to the departure of their drummer, Trivett
Wingo.
“It is with deep sadness that I am announcing my departure from The Sword. After nearly seven years and some of
the most amazing adventures of a lifetime, I have arrived at a place where I am physically and emotionally unable to
continue on as part of The Sword. If I could go any further, I would as I love the music and JD, Bryan and Kyle are
people that I deeply respect, but I have reached a point where I just can’t do this anymore. I would like to thank the
wonderful people who made this experience what it has been: the fans, the people that I have worked and all of the
bands and musicians that have inspired me over the years. I thank you and apologize for any disappointment that
this may cause anyone, not least of which The Sword.” – Trivett Wingo

It has been a crazy few months. From Red Rocks to forest fires, this summer has been full of wondrous and
disastrous times. The season began with copious amounts of SCI rehearsals that lead to a great run of shows here
in Colorado and the West Coast. Then I put on a brew fest and traveled the country playing with my solo band. We
had a lot of fun hanging in the festival circuit. But then in late Summer, the foothills of Boulder got hit with the
biggest fire in local history.
To that end, I am super psyched to be involved in the Fourmile Fire Revival show. The line up is killer and it will be
the first time I have played with some of those folks. I have seen Phish many times, but never really met them. And,
in fact, I played in a band that performed a tribute set to them at the last Jammy Awards. A bit awkward really, they
sat side stage as we performed their music very marginally. Must have been weird for them as well. I am not sure
how this whole show will go down, but I hope all the bands get some time to play together. I am looking forward to
it!
On the beer front, I have been talking with a lot of great breweries about doing some more “Kyle brews.” Several of
them have already shown some interest in crafting up new brews with me. I would love to do another brew fest next
summer and perhaps a benefit this holiday season. Stay tunedÂ… I also went to the Great American Beer Festival this
last week, great times and awesome beers. Some of my favorites were Fat Head Brewery and Blind Tiger Brewery,
their IPA’s were outstanding. I made a short video of my adventure, from karaoke to silent disco, I got a little crazy
this year.

In anticipation of this summer’s sold-out String Cheese Incident run at Red Rocks July 23-25, Kyle Hollingsworth will host Kyle’s Brew Fest, a kick-off party at Denver’s Great Divide Brewery on Thursday, July 22, to benefit Conscious Alliance. In addition to being a prolific musician, Hollingsworth has long been a fan of microbrews and specialty beers; in fact he’s been brewing his own beer at home for years.
Along his most recent KHB tour, Hollingsworth found the perfect way to blend his love of brewing with his love for music: Brew Tours. His band invited local breweries to participating venues for tastings, meet and greets, and more. He returns this summer with Kyle’s Brew Fest, presented by Kyle Hollingsworth, Great Divide Brewing, The Mountain Sun Brewery, Deschutes Brewery, and Odell Brewing, where he has teamed up with several breweries to offer fans beer tastings, exclusive brews including Hoppingsworth IPA (created by Hollingsworth himself with The Mountain Sun Brewery) and much more.
A very limited number of tickets will be sold for this intimate affair and all proceeds will benefit not-for-profit Conscious Alliance, a group that organizes food drives at concerts and sporting events to collect food donations to benefit local food pantries and impoverished Indian reservations throughout the U.S.
