Google Latitude API Will Let Users Check Traffic, Fraud From Mobile Phones
Google May 19 launched an API for Google Latitude, the friend-finding service that lets users display their locations on Google Maps. Developers could build apps or services for that alert users to potential fraud of their credit card accounts when a purchase is made from a location remote from the card holder. Programmers might also write apps that, in conjunction with users’ location history, send alerts to users’ mobile phones to let them know whether the route ahead of them is obstructed or heavily trafficked. – Google launched an API for

Dell Latitude Laptop Portfolio Grows by 3
Dell’s Latitude family grows by three with the introduction of the E6410, E6510 and E6410 ATG notebooks. While the Dell Latitude E6410 ATG is a semirugged laptop, all three notebooks offer Intel’s Core i5 and i7 processors, high-speed DDR3 memory and energy-saving features. Latitude Tree posts 126% rise in half-year net profit to $11.5m
Newly-listed Latitude Tree International Group, the manufacturer of quality lifestyle wooden home furniture, has reported a 126.4% surge in net profit from $5.1 million in HY2009 to $11.5 million for the six months ended December 31, 2009 (HY2010).
This manufacturer says this was driven mainly by a 15.0% increase in revenue to $77.7 million in HY2010, as compared to that in HY2009, higher sales of better margin products, improved production efficiency and lower per unit factory costs and raw material costs.

On Sept. 29, Dell rolled out a trio of new PCs designed for enterprise customers, especially those working in finance, banking, real estate and the insurance industry.
