Russian MFA European Department head Aleksandr Alekseyev says his country will lobby for talks between Belgrade and Pri’tina on Kosovo’s status. Kosovo presidential adviser Xhavit Beqiri says that Kosovo officials will be lobbying at the UN General Assembly for new recognitions. According to electronic media in Priština, Beqiri said that Kosovo President Fatmir Sejdi and foreign policy chief Skender Hyseni would be lobbying states at the General Assembly that have not so far recognized the province’s unilateral independence declaration.
