Apple has set January 6, 2011 as the launch date for the App Store, which will be available in 90 countries with free and for-pay software in categories such as education, games, graphics and design, lifestyle, productivity, and utility. On the developer side, Apple says developers will set the price of the applications and get 70 percent of the revenue.
