vote for the band of their choice to perform on

, which sets sail January 4-9 onboard the MSC Poesia from Port
Everglades in Fort Lauderdale, FL and will visit the ports of Roatan, Honduras and Costa Maya, Mexico.

Multi-platinum pop group Barenaked
Ladies
continue on their summer tour this week, offering a download of their newest album, All
In Good Time
, for online ticket transactions to most of the upcoming shows. The special download will
also include several bonus tracks; live versions of “One Week,” “Blame It On Me,” “Pinch Me,” “You Run Away” and the
“Big Bang Theory Theme.” Joining them throughout the tour will be special guests Kris Allen (American Idol season 8
winner), critically acclaimed singer/songwriter Ben Kweller and vibrant newcomer Angel Taylor. The summer tour kicked off in Kansas City, MO on July 6 and wraps on August
14 in Rochester, NY with stops at Radio City Music Hall, The Greek in Los Angeles and Red Rocks in Denver.

All In Good Time was released earlier this year and debuted at number one on Billboard magazine’s Top
Independent
Albums chart as well as at number 23 on the Billboard Top 200 album chart. The group has been touring North
America since April, including a performance at Ottawa’s Canada Day for Queen Elizabeth on July 1st and recently
announced its Ships & Dip 4 (www.shipsanddip.com), a fun-filled cruise setting sail February 6-11 from Miami to
Costa Maya and Belize.

All Shall Perish

Billing itself as “The Most Extreme Tour of the Year!” the annual Summer Slaughter Tour returns to North America. Poland’s Decapitated will headline the 31-date tour, which also includes The Faceless, All Shall Perish, The Red Chord, Veil Of Maya, Cephalic Carnage, Decrepit Birth, Carnifex, Animals As Leaders, and Vital Remains. Tickets will range between $18 – $20 in advance almost everywhere with the exception of L.A. and NYC.

Bear Creek Festival Announces Music Schedule

JamBase and Bear Creek are thrilled to announce the 2009 Bear Creek Music Schedule. As an added bonus, if you complete your own personalized weekend schedule here you will be entered to win a pair of VIP tickets for the festival.

Set to go down November 13-15 in Live Oak, FL, artists-at-large additions for the event include former Parliament/Funkadelic and Talking Heads keyboard wizard Bernie Worrell, guitar slingers Matt Grondin (Inca Maya) and Cameron Williams (Tishamingo), as well as trombonist Jonathan Lloyd (Dubconscious and Cadillac Jones).

Atlanta’s Cadillac Jones and Jacksonville’s Saltwater Grass have also been added to Bear Creek. Rounding out the recent additions, Ryan Montbleau Band has added a second show and Bobby Lee Rodgers will be joining the Donna Hopkins Band for their Bear Creek set.


Early-bird weekend pass prices will increase from $125 to $140, while VIP ticket prices will rise from $275 to $325, on October 1.

At SIGGRAPH, Intel made available version 2.2 of Intel® Threading Building Blocks (Intel® TBB), the most widely used high level programming method for parallelism. Intel TBB 2.2 maintains the functionality and platform support of previous versions and adds numerous feature and performance improvements, including full support for the lambda capabilities of the new C++ draft standard (C++0x) and more flexibility for ISVs to redistribute with applications using Intel TBB.
