The Serbian Association of Employers says that Trade Minister Slobodan Milosavljević abused his official position and violated conventions.
A statement from the organization comes as Antonio Penalosa, secretary-general of the International Organization of Employers, is expected to visit Belgrade.

Trade minister sees lower inflation
Trade Minister Slobodan Milosavljević says the inflation in Serbia will be lower in 2011, compared to last year. He believes that this will mean somewhat better purchasing power for consumers.
Defense minister on state of defense
The country’s defense system is not being jeopardized in any way by the abolishment of obligatory military service, says Dragan Å utanovac.
The new law came into effect on January 1, and the defense minister stated that in case it was necessary, the Serbian Army (VS) reserve units would be filled from the so-called active reserve, which is yet to be set up.
Ex-justice minister and MP dies
Christian-Democratic Party of Serbia (DHSS) leader and MP Vladan Batić has died after a long illness, the Serbian parliament has announced.
The DHSS has confirmed that Batić died at the age of 62. He passed away after a long battle with throat cancer.
Dinkić still promises 5,000 jobs in Kragujevac
Minister of Economy Mlađan Dinkić on Wednesday reacted to the protest of Zastava Automobili workers in Kragujevac. He told B92 that the previously promised 5,000 jobs will be created in that central Serbian town, but that Fiat has decided to hire only 1,100 people right now.
Prime minister tours earthquake town
Prime Minister Mirko Cvetković visited on Tuesday the central Serbian town of Kraljevo, that was hit with a 5.4 earthquake in early November. The premier said that in the year to come, the construction of prefabricated houses should continue intensively, and promised that all the works in the city will be completed by October 1, 2011.
Minister blamed for problems in Sandžak
The Liberal-Democratic Party (LDP) has asked for Human and Minority Rights Minister Svetozar Čiplić to be sacked over the situation in the Raška District.
The southwestern region of Serbia, known also as Sandžak, is home to a large Bosniak (Muslim) minority, and LDP party official Ivan Adrić said in parliament in Belgrade on Tuesday that Čiplić is the generator of all the problems and conflicts there.
Israeli defense minister on Turkey tensions
Israeli Defense Minister Ehud Barak said Monday that Israel stands to gain by reducing tensions with Turkey, VOA reports. His comments came in response to Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman’s comments Sunday rejecting a demand from Turkey that Israel apologize for its attack on a Turkish ship last May that killed nine people.
Justice minister: Bill will not be withdrawn
Serbian Justice Minister Snežana Malović denied on Monday the claims made by the Judges’ Association of Serbia and the Association of Prosecutors.
They stated that the bill of amendments to the Law on Judges will deprive the Constitutional Court of authority to decide on appeals submitted by judges and prosecutors who lost their jobs.

Economy Minister and G17 Plus leader Mlađan Dinkić has stated that the Serbian government could reduce the number of its ministries to 15.
“We have a clear stand on this – either we will reach an agreement on a radical government reshuffle with 15 departments by the end of January, or we will have nothing done whatsoever,†the minister told Belgrade-based daily Blic.
Minister criticizes computer tax hike
Minister for Telecommunications and Information Society Jasna Matić has criticized the ten percent increase in VAT on computer hardware. The tax, which now stands at 18 percent, “reflects a lack of understanding of the significance which the information and communication technologies bear for the enhancement of the country’s competitiveness, living conditions and work of public enterprises”, she said.
Minister to discuss Marty’s report with EU officials
Head the National Council for Cooperation with the Hague Tribunal Rasim Ljajić will discuss Dick Marty’s report on Monday in Strasbourg with top EU officials.
Ljajić will meet with CoE Deputy Secretary General Maud de Boer-Buquicchio and Commissioner for Human Rights Thomas Hammarberg, his office said in a statement.
