Dengue Fever: Spring Tour Dates

CANNIBAL COURTSHIP OUT APRIL 19 VIA FANTASY RECORDS

Dengue Fever have
announced a run of Spring dates, beginning April 20 at the Fillmore in San Francisco. The tour will also hit Portland,
Vancouver, Seattle, Santa Cruz, Dallas, Austin, and other cities before ending May 7 in Houston. The band’s fourth
album, Cannibal Courtship is due out April 19 from Fantasy Records / Concord, featuring eleven
original songs by Dengue Fever, in English and Khmer.

Great American Taxi: Boulder Charity Benefit & Fall Tour Dates

COMING TO BOULDER THEATER,
DECEMBER 11


Great American Taxi

On December 11, Great American
Taxi will host a night of music at the historic Boulder Theater here to raise money for the Mark Vann Foundation charity. In its eighth year
running, the holiday benefit concert this year includes Great American Taxi, Todd Snider, Bill McKay Band, Bonfire
Dub, Shannon McNally & Hot Sauce and others.

“It’s our own little way of keeping alive and nurturing the joyous spirit of Mark Vann,” said Chad
Staehly, executive director of the foundation and keyboardist/singer for Great American Taxi. Vann, the banjo
player for the Boulder-based band Leftover Salmon, died in 2002; the foundation in his name assists various
nonprofit groups.

This year funds will directly benefit There With Care and
CareConnect. The evening also includes an art exhibit and
silent auction. The show starts at 8 p.m. Tickets cost $20. People are encouraged to wear a fun or favorite hat.

Great American Taxi is currently in the midst of its Fall Harvest tour. Taxi’s latest CD release, Reckless
Habits, remains active on both the Jambands.com radio chart and the Colorado radio chart,
complemented by two months in the Top 25 on the Americana radio chart.

Galactic Announce Winter Dates

Galactic is loading up on
special guests to join the band as they barrel through the country on a wild and rocking Winter Tour 2010. Galactic
will spread the New Orleans flavor, throwing down the Mardi Gras spirit starting in Asheville on February 9 before
hitting Nashville on the 10th and ATL on February 12.

Lead singer Corey Glover (of Living
Colour) will join the band on the road for the first time, bringing his amazing vocals and energy for the first
starting with Jamcruise and including Chicago on February 18. Cyril Neville (of the Neville Brothers) will join for select dates
and Corey Henry (of Rebirth Brass
Band) will be on board throughout bringing his real deal NOLA brass trombone sound to the party.

Corey Glover and Cyril will both join along with the High and Mighty Brass Band plus a VERY special surprise guest
for the NYC Terminal 5 Mardi Gras north celebration on February 26. Orgone and The Bridge will support some

“A sad and unexpected turn of events has resulted in the postponement of this year’s Halloween gig in Albany,
NY. Due to a serious illness in the moe.family, the band has made the difficult decision to move the October 30
show to December 4. moe. considers both Upstate NY and Albany their “homes away from home”, and didn’t want to
simply cancel the show. At this time, the band still plans to carry out the original theme of the Electric Lemoe.nade
Acid Test on this new night. All tickets will be honored at the December 4 show and the guys look forward to seeing
everyone.

The band and management want to thank you for your compassion and understanding. We realize that, for the

State Theatre in Portland Maine Re-Opening after Four Years

The State Theatre in Portland, Maine is re-opening
after four years and a $1.5 million renovation that includes new lights, paint, carpet, seating, and sound equipment.
The theatre picks up with a sold out performance by My Morning Jacket on Friday, October 15, followed up with a show by moe. the next night. Sunday will be a free
open house showcasing local bands from 1PM – 9PM.

In an article for The Portland Press Herald, General Manager
Lauren Wayne says she hopes to bring around 80 shows a year to the theatre, with 20 already lined up
between now and the end of the year.

“We hope people notice a lot of what’s been done,” said Wayne. “It was really a collaboration to get the theater up to
this point.”

Dave Brogan Band Plays Sat

RARE LIVE APPEARANCE FOR ALO DRUMMER’S SIDE BAND

The Dave Brogan Band will be playing one of their few shows of 2010 opening for The Mother Hips at Moe’s Alley in Santa Cruz, CA this Saturday, October 16. After a very busy 2010 with ALO, New Fangled Wasteland and working on a new Dave Brogan Band album the band has had limited time for shows. Dave Brogan and The Mother Hips have worked together many times including guesting on his debut solo album, Thunderbird Sun Transformation (JamBase rave).

Dave Brogan’s band in Santa Cruz will consist of David-Simon Baker (ALO, Dave Brogan and Mother Hips producer) on guitar, Paul Hoaglin on drums, Asher Fulero on keys and Ari Gorman on bass. Disgrace is the new side
project from Rob Derhak, Chuck Garvey, and Al Schnier of moe.

The band will hit the road after the Bear Creek Music Festival. Check the websites of the venues for ticketing
information. More dates will be announced soon.

11/16- Visulite – Charlotte, NC

11/18- 8X10 – Baltimore, MD

October also includes the debut of Empire Sound: a brand new project featuring Al Schnier (guitar), Jim
Loughlin (bass), Sam Kininger (sax), Kirk Juhas (keys), & Corey Colmey (drums).
Their instrumental, progressive funk rock is heavy on melodies & deep grooves. The band will be performing
for the first time on October 20 at The Electric Company in Utica, NY

Vinnie Amico will team up with Ronnie Davis aka LeeRon Zydeco to firm the Amico-Davis Duo, performing for
the
first time at Nietzche’s in Buffalo NY on 10/13. Vinnie will also play with the Stone Revival Band in October, and
will
be part of the Art of the Groove
