Montenegrin speaker criticizes Serbia
Speaker of the Montenegrin parliament Ranko Krivokapić stated that Serbia was “not capable of organizing a good state meetingâ€. “As far as I’m concerned, my visit to Serbia was finished on May 8 and 9 and I will invite my counterpart to come to Montenegro because I reckon that Serbia is unable to organize a good meeting.â€
B92 refutes Montenegrin politician’s accusations
B92 strongly protests against accusations of Montenegrin politician Nebojša Medojević that the media company has put itself in the service of organized crime. Medojević, MP in the Montenegrin parliament and leader of the Movement for Change party, accused B92 of being a mafia’s media outlet, that had put itself in its service.
“Serbia exporting narco-cartelsâ€
Montenegrin Parliament Speaker Ranko Krivokapić accused Serbia of trying to “export” the problem of narco-cartels to Montenegro. “Serbia is the homeland of this kind of crime, and Å arić is a Serbian citizens, and now they want to unload that problem on Montenegro. Montenegro has that problem in one sector and we will solve it,†Krivokapić said.
Worsening of ties “bad for Serbia’s EU integrationsâ€
A Montenegrin parliamentary official says the “radicalization of relations between Serbia and Montenegro†would harm Serbia’s progress toward the EU. Miodrag Vuković, who chairs the Montenegrin Parliament’s International Relations Committee, also spoke against this.
