Swiss MPs back Marty, seek probe

The allegations presented the Marty report should be looked into by an international commission, concluded the Swiss National Council Foreign Affairs Committee. The Serbia parliament is attempting to beat the clock and adopt next year’s state budget within the legal deadline.

MPs adopt revision of 2010 state budget

Serbian parliament members today in Belgrade voted in favor of a draft 2010 budget revision, which the Cvetković government sent to parliament.
Under the proposed amendments to the Law on the 2010 Budget of the Republic of Serbia, the budget deficit will be RSD 120bn (some EUR 1.13bn).

MPs set to debate 2010 budget review

The Serbian parliament is meeting in Belgrade today to discuss the draft revision of the country’s 2010 budget. The draft, which envisages a budget deficit increase of RSD 13bn (some EUR 125mn) was forwarded to MPs by the government last week. In all, the deficit will reach RSD 120bn (EUR 1.1bn) after this revision.

MPs spend millions from budget on gasoline

In the first six months of the year, MPs have spent RSD 35mn on gasoline, filling their gas tanks with 295,000 liters. According to daily Večernje novosti, this money was spent on driving to parliamentary sessions in their private cars.
