Response Records has announced the upcoming release of Apollo, the hugely anticipated new
album from Stockholm
Syndrome. The album – which follows the band’s 2004 debut, Holy Happy Hour – arrives
everywhere on February 15, 2011.
Stockholm Syndrome is the collaborative brainchild of two gifted musicians, Widespread Panic bassist Dave
Schools and singer/songwriter Jerry Joseph. Initially conceived as a side project, the alliance soon
became a full-fledged band, with the able accompaniment of guitarist Eric McFadden, keyboardist
Danny Louis, and drummer Wally Ingram.
Apollo sees Stockholm Syndrome building upon its initial outing by distilling a distinctive sound fueled by
freewheeling creativity and incendiary rock power. Songs like “Finding” and the epic title track showcase the band’s
virtuosic interplay and genre-blurring ingenuity, all centered by Jerry Joseph’s creative, cathartic lyricism.

by Dave Schools in a converted chicken coop at Cotatai, California’s Prairie Sun Recording, with additional recording
at the famed Compass Point Studios in Nassau, Bahamas – Apollo places Joseph’s soulful vocals and
songwriting gifts at the forefront, all the while confirming Stockholm Syndrome’s remarkable ability to bridge sonic
styles spanning pop, psychedelia, and full-on rock ‘n roll.

The 2010 Fall Jagermeister Music Tour is North America’s biggest thrash tour in

years with the 1991 original “Clash of the Titans” lineup – Slayer, Megadeth and Anthrax. The brand’s 17th Music

1991′s original American “Clash of the Titans” lineup – Megadeth, Slayer and Anthrax – will tour together once again on Leg Two of the American Carnage Tour. This trek kicks off September 24 at Verizon Wireless Theatre in Dallas, TX and will play 20 dates, including New York’s Nassau Coliseum, concluding at Gibson Amphitheatre in Los Angeles on October 21.
On Leg Two of American Carnage, Megadeth will continue to roar through its landmark 1990 album Rust in Peace from front to back, while Slayer will perform their Seasons in the Abyss album, which was also released in 1990. Anthrax recently welcomed back singer Joey Belladonna, who defined the band during their heyday, and now permanently back in the band, will be front & center.

Internationally renowned musician and composer A.R. Rahman will embark on a highly anticipated world tour this summer. The “A.R. Rahman Jai Ho Concert: The Journey Home World Tour” produced by Deepak Gattani and Rapport
Productions, will kick off on June 11 in New York at The Nassau Coliseum. The tour will travel to over 20 major
arenas and cities worldwide including The Forum in Los Angeles, The Patriot Center in Washington DC, American
Airlines Arena in Dallas, as well as Wembley Arena and O2 in London to name a few.
On his forthcoming tour, Rahman will collaborate with creative director Amy Tinkham who is known for creating live
musical concerts for a variety of pop-music icons including Britney Spears, The

Panic has announced that they are “hard at work at John Keane Studios working on songs for a new release later on in the year.”
Of particular note is the fact that the band is once again recording in Athens, GA with longtime producer and collaborator John Keane. The past two albums (2006′s Earth To America and 2008′s Free Somehow) were recorded at Compass Point Studios in Nassau, Bahamas with Terry Manning. The last album Panic recorded with Keane was 2003′s Ball.
In other Panic news, the band recently announced the first live dates of 2010 with three nights at the House of Blues in Myrtle Beach, SC March 25, 26, and 27. The home of some legendary shows, these are sure to be a hot ticket. Ticket on sale now.
