announced their first batch of confirmed artists. Set for
June 17-19 at the Mendocino City Fairgrounds in Boonville, California, the festival will feature Toots & The Maytals, Steel Pulse, Rebelution, Horace Andy, and others.

ELEVENTH STUDIO ALBUM OUT MARCH 29 IN NORTH AMERICA

Whitesnake, the band
founded and formed by singer/songwriter David Coverdale, will unleash a brand new album,
Forevermore, on Frontiers Records on March 25 in Europe and March 29 in North America.

Their 11th studio album, Forevermore was recorded, produced and mixed by Coverdale, guitarist Doug
Aldrich and Michael McIntyre at Snakebyte Studios and Grumblenott Studios & Villas in Lake Tahoe, Nevada,
with additional work at Casa Dala, Sherman Oaks, CA, and Whitesnake will take to the road for a full world tour in
support of the release.

The album’s release will be anticipated by the digital only release of the first single/video clip Â“Love Will Set You
FreeÂ” on February 21.

Forevermore will be specially released on a Â“Snake PackÂ” edition for the first 3 weeks in England only. This
very special release will come with a collector’s edition 132 pages deluxe magazine + A1 poster & metal pin badge
and shall feature an exclusive cover art and 2 bonus live tracks Â“Slide It InÂ” and Â“Cheap An’ Nasty,Â” which will serve as
an appetizer for the forthcoming Â“Live @ Donington 1990Â” to be released in the summer 2011.

The album is also being released on a double gatefold vinyl format, with deluxe special editions to be announced
shortly.

THE lengthening shadow cast by illegal betting syndicates over international sport has one curious exception: America. That is surprising, given that Americans are ardent betters on sport and, as with soccer and cricket, sportsmen there are often youths from lowly backgrounds.

In 2009 punters bet almost $2.6 billion on sports in Nevada’s casinos (apart from a handful of sport-related lotteries, it is the only state in which such wagers are legal). Such legal betting is only a small fraction of the total. As with cricket and soccer, not all bets are strictly on games’ outcomes: “exotic” wagers (variously known as prop, side or spot bets) on passages of play or specific occurrences are widely placed. …
