Mann Seng Metal unit enters into OEM manufacturing, distribution deal

Mann Seng Metal International says MSM Equipment Manufacturer Sdn. Bhd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of the company, on July 12 , entered into an original equipment manufacturer-distribution agreement with Rational International AG.

The OEM-distribution agreement appoints MSM Equipment to distribute the multifunctional cooking appliances manufactured by Rational AG, under MSM Equipment’s trademark MSM and product designations.

Microsoft has delayed the release of the Windows 7 OEM Preinstallation Kit to smaller system builders, stating that to do otherwise would interfere with the Windows 7 general availability date. Microsoft and its ecosystem partners hope that the release of Windows 7 will compel a tech refresh among SMBs (small- to medium-sized businesses) and the enterprise.

ASBIS Signs Direct OEM Agreement with Microsoft

ASBIS has signed a Direct OEM Agreement with Microsoft.The new agreement will license ASBIS to preinstall and distribute Microsoft software products on ASBIS’ personal computers. According to the newly signed Agreement, ASBIS has been granted a license to preinstall Microsoft software on its own systems, provide its customers with a backup copy of the preinstalled software, and distribute the preinstalled software to its customers.
