Sunlight Group unit acquires Third Chin Bee Rd property for $3.45m to house operations
Sunlight Group Hldg says wholly-owned subsidiary Sunlight Electrical has obtained an option from MediPearl Pte Ltd to purchase a property located at 1 Third Chin Bee Road Singapore 618679 for $3.45 million.
The property is a single-storey factory with adjoining 2-storey office block with tenure of a lease of 28 years from 16th March 1997 granted by the Jurong Town Corporation. It has an approximate land area of 7,898.1 square metres.
Britain ends military operations in Iraq
The British military lowered the flag over its Basra headquarters on Thursday to mark the official end of its combat mission in Iraq. After six years as the main battlefield ally of the United States, Britain conducted a formal transfer of authority to the U.S. commander in Iraq in a ceremony in the southern Iraqi city of Basra.
Yahoo Quarterly Income from Operations Drops
Yahoo reports that its second-quarter revenue decreased 13 percent year-over-year to $1.57 billion. Profits totaled $141 million or 10 cents per share in the second quarter compared with $131.2 million or 9 cents per share for the year-ago quarter, Yahoo says.
