Police in Greece said they have broken up one of the best organized crime groups that operated in the wider area of Athens. Four Albanians, whose identities have not been revealed, are now behind bars on suspicion that they took some EUR 1.25mn in 26 hijackings of vehicles that transported money from supermarkets.

A police service fighting organized crime cooperated with the Special Prosecution for Organized Crime to arrested members of two organized crime groups.
