The Twilight Singers: Euro Tour & US In-Stores

IN SUPPORT OF NEW ALBUM DYNAMITE

The Twilight Singers

The Twilight Singers will
embark on their first European tour in five years beginning March 18 in London at the Electric Ballroom. Tickets for
most shows go on sale on this week. Dates are still being added and more will be announced in the coming
weeks.

The band will celebrate the launch of their forthcoming album Dynamite Steps (Out in the US on
February 15 and worldwide on February 14) by performing two special shows at Amoeba Music in Los Angeles (Feb
15) and the San Francisco Amoeba Music store (Feb 17) the week of release. These will be the first ever in store
performances for the group.

The following week, The Twilight Singers will return to Jimmy Kimmel Live on February 23rd to perform their
latest single Â“On The CornerÂ” The song is currently available as a free download at the Sub Pop Records website here.

Seadrill buys two rigs, shares rise: Update

Norway’s Seadrill (SDRL.OL) said on Monday it would acquire two ultra-deepwater semi-submersible drilling rigs, sending its shares higher.

Shares in Seadrill rose 1.9% to 201 crowns in the opening trade, outperforming a 0.8% rise in the Oslo stock exchange benchmark index.

LDP: Scandalous to send ombudsman to Oslo

LDP party leader ÄŒedomir JovanoviÄ‡ says it s positive that Serbian Ombudsman SaÅ¡a JankoviÄ‡ is attending the Nobel Peace Prize ceremony in Oslo.
But, he added speaking in Belgrade on Friday, “it is scandalous that he will be there as a representative of the government”.

Serbia’s Ombudsman SaÅ¡a JankoviÄ‡ will attend the Nobel Peace Prize ceremony in Oslo, it was announced late on Thursday. Reports this week said that Serbia would boycott the ceremony due to its ties with China.

Serbia will send an official to the ceremony in Oslo for this year’s winner of the Nobel Peace Prize award.
This comes despite an announcement this week that the ceremony, set to honor a Chinese dissident and opposed by China, would not be attended.

TOUR STARTS FEBRUARY 14 IN SINGAPORE; CLAPTON OUT NOW

Eric Clapton will kick off a
world tour starting February 14 in support of his latest solo album, Clapton, released on
September 28.

Clapton will be accompanied by Steve Gadd, Willie Weeks, Chris Stainton and backing vocalists
Michelle John and Sharon White. The North American leg starts February 25 and ends March 9.
On May 9, Clapton will head over to Europe for a month, ending on June 11. All confirmed dates are below.

“Don’t boycott Nobel Prize ceremony”

Lawyersâ€™ Committee for Human Rights (YUCOM) has called upon the state to change its decision to boycott this yearâ€™s Nobel Peace Prize ceremony.

In an open letter to the authorities, YUCOM has asked the government to send its representative to Nobel Peace Prize ceremony in Oslo which will honor Chinese dissident Liu Xiaobo.

Serbia pays special attention to the protection of human rights, but the bilateral relations with China represent one of Serbia’s highest national interests.
This is according to Serbian Foreign Minister Vuk JeremiÄ‡, who on Tuesday in Belgrade explained the decision that Serbia will not attend the Nobel Peace Prize ceremony in Oslo on Friday.

Legendary stoner rock band Kyuss is reuniting without original guitarist and Queens of the Stone Age
main man Josh Homme. The lineup includes vocalist John Garcia, bassist Nick Oliveri,
and drummer Brant Bjork. Guitarist Bruno Fevery will be stepping in to replace Homme, and the
band is calling
themselves Kyuss
Lives.

In an interview with Blabbermouth, Homme discussed the
possibility of a Kyuss reunion, saying “The offers come in all the
time. They’re getting more and more expensive, and more and more elaborate. The money is crazy, but I’ve never
been tempted – I don’t really care about the money, I never have. That’s not what Kyuss was about, so to punctuate
the end of our sentence with that would be blasphemy…Kyuss has such a great history that it would be a total error.
I like that nobody saw
Kyuss, and that it was largely misunderstood. That sounds like a legend forming to me. I’m too proud of it to rub
my dick on it.”

Gogol Bordello: Winter Dates & NYE Run

TWO NIGHT NYE RUN IN WASHINGTON DC

Gogol Bordello have
unveiled a string of winter dates, beginning with two nights at the Boulder Theater in Boulder, CO. From there, the
gang will hit other US cities including Lawrence, KS, Milwaukee, Madison, Covington and Pittsburgh before heading
over to Europe for a few weeks worth of shows.

Gogol will pick it back up in the US on December 28, leading up to a two night New Years Eve run on December 30
and 31 at the 9:30 Club in Washington, DC. They’ll also play a New Years Day show at Terminal 5 in New York.

We’ve been wanting to play a Halloween Show in Richmond for years and are finally getting to do it (at least on the
29th and 30th). Richmond is a beautiful and somewhat haunted town that has inspired Edgar Allen Poe, Wes Freed
and certainly us. The National is an amazing venue and Bobby Bare Jr is opening, playing songs off of his stellar new
album A Storm – A Tree – My Mother’s Head which will be on my year end list.

Tickets are selling fast for our upcoming European / UK Tour. The UK dates look like they’ll all sell out in advance
and the European sales are by far our fastest and best yet. It’s been too long and we plan on making it up and then
some.

We’re also gearing up for our year end finale in NYC for NYE. More details to be announced soon. We also recently

Dungen: New Album Tour Dates, New Track

Serbian delegation at OSCE annual meeting

The permanent Serbian delegation at the OSCE parliamentary assembly will be participating in the 19th annual meeting of the assembly in Oslo, Norway. The main topic of the meeting, which will last until July 10, will be â€œThe Rule of Law: The Fight Against International Crime and Corruptionâ€.

China Fishery cancels listing plan on Oslo bourse

Singapore-listed China Fishery (CNFG.SI) said on Friday it had cancelled a plan for a secondary listing on the Oslo bourse due to the turbulence in European markets.

The annoucement came three days after the company said Carlyle Group, one of the world’s biggest private equity investors, would invest $190 million ($266 million) in the fishery firm to help it expand business.
