President on government reshuffle

Ruling DS party leader and Serbian President Boris Tadić says there have been no talks about a government reshuffle in the past two weeks. Speaking in Belgrade late on Wednesday, he called on the media “not to spread rumors”.

Croat president RS daily’s “man of year”

A Banja Luka, RS, based newspaper has announced that Croatian President Ivo Josipović has been chosen as their Personality of the Year. Josipović told Nezavisne Novine, published in the Bosnian Serb entity’s largest town, that coexistence of the peoples living in neighboring countries had no alternative.

The Democratic Party (DS) has determined a list of candidates for the 14th party elections.

The only candidate for president of the DS is Boris Tadić who was nominated by 164 municipal boards, the DS has announced.

Serbian Foreign Minister Vuk Jeremić has confirmed that he officially submitted his candidacy for Democratic Party (DS) deputy president.

He did not want to give any statement to reporters Friday when they asked him what he expected of the upcoming elections in the DS.
