Telekom starting price set at EUR 1.4bn
The Serbian government decided on Thursday to set the minimum starting price for the sale of its 51 percent stake in Telekom Srbia at EUR 1.4bn. The government tasked the Finance Ministry and the working group for conducting the tender for the sale of state-owned telecommunications company shares with informing all participants in the tender for the privatization of the Serbian company about the initial price.

The government will today set the minimum opening bid for the sale of 51 percent of its shares in Telekom Srbija. This should amount to approximately EUR 1.4bn, Serbian Minister of Economy Mlađan Dinkić announced on Wednesday, and expressed expectation that a higher bid will be offered in the course of the auction.

Noble off 0.5%; Brazil mill price key issue: Analyst
Noble Group (N21.SG) is down 0.5% at $2.06 vs the STI’s 0.3% rise in a muted reaction to a Brazilian media report that Noble will acquire 2 mills belonging to ethanol producer Grupo Cerradinho for BRL1.6 billion (around US$1.2 billion).
The report says Noble will pay BRL600 million in cash and assume BRL1 billion of debt. “Sugar is a very good place to be from a long term perspective,” says an analyst.

BNP Paribas starts Sembcorp Industries (U96.SG) at Buy with a $5.90 sum-of-the-parts target price.
