Stjepan Mesić has said that he has been receiving pension checks every month from Serbia. Mesić, who stepped down as Croatia’s president earlier this year, explained that he was getting EUR 39 per month for holding the office of the last president of the presidency of the former Yugoslavia (SFRJ).
STX Pan Ocean gains after receiving 25-year Brazil contract

STX Pan Ocean Co. advanced in Seoul trading after saying it expects about US$5 billion ($6.5 billion) of revenue from a 25-year contract received from Fibria Celulose SA of Brazil to ship wood pulp. STX shares gained 4% to 12,900 won ($15) as of 9:27 a.m. on the Korea Exchange. The benchmark Kospi gained 0.3%.
Fibria Celulose S.A. is the world’s largest supplier of wood pulp with 30% share of the global wood pulp market.
STX Pan Ocean Co. says it has taken up the contract to penetrate into wood pulp transportation market and secure a stabilised source of profit.

Yeo Hiap Seng (Malaysia) Berhad says wholly-owned subsidiary Yeo Hiap Seng Trading Sdn Bhd has received a termination notice from Allswell Trading, the franchise holder of the energy drink Red Bull in Malaysia, for the sales and distribution of the beverage in Malaysia. Yeo Hiap Seng’s management says it is currently discussing the matter with Allswell.
