Following its acquisition of Robin Court and 1 Robin Drive last year, Sing Holdings says has entered into a sale and purchase agreement to acquire yet another adjoining site Robin Star for $47 million.
The three sites have a combined land area of 64,878 sqft. With a plot ratio of 1.4 and including a 10% balcony area allocation, the Property can yield a gross floor area of about 99,913 sqft. The total purchase price of $124.33 million translates to $1,297 per square foot per plot ratio, inclusive of estimated development charges of about $5.28 million.

Popular Holdings says it posted a 39.5% fall in net profit to $8.16 million in the first quarter ended July 31, 2010 (1QFY2010).
Revenue fell 21.4% to $121.54 million compared to a year ago which benefited from the sale of One Robin project.
A second project, 18 Shelford, is expected to obtain TOP in the last quarter of 2010.
The third project, 8 Raja, is in its planning phase and construction is expected to start by early 2011.

Popular Holdings swung to a full-year profit of $40.1 for the full year ended 30 April 2010 (FY2010) from a loss of $19 million in FY2009.
Total group turnover improved 14.3% to $514.6 million from $450.3 million.
Property development was the main contributor to growth, recording $28.6 million of operating profits, which included a fair value impairment writeback of $21.7 million.
The division recognised sales revenue of $41.4 million from the group’s maiden project “One Robin”.
