Kyle Hollingsworth Band: November Live Dates

MILWAUKEE, CHICAGO, ST. LOUIS & IOWA CITY GET A VISIT

Kyle Hollingsworth

After wrapping up a successful run of summer festival performances, the Kyle Hollingsworth Band will hit the road in the Midwest this November. St. Louis’ Messy Jiverson will join KHB on all dates. Tickets will be on sale Monday, September 13, at Noon CDT at www.kylehollingsworth.com, and on sale at venue outlets Wednesday, September 15, at Noon CDT.

KHB Tour Dates

November 10 Miramar Theatre Milwaukee, WI
November 11 Martyrs’ Chicago, IL
November 12 Old Rock House St. Louis, MO
November 13 Iowa City Yacht Club Iowa City, IA

Playing in String Cheese Incident and leading his own band has allowed Hollingsworth unrestricted access to the world of music, and has bestowed on him the kind of fearlessness that can move from funk to bluegrass on a chord change.

“In the jam world, where there are no set ways of doing things, we’re not afraid to move in and out of genres,” he says, “and because of that I’ve learned to be creative, not only on stage but in the studio. I can get on board with something pretty quickly. You have to.”

Hollingsworth’s most recent solo release is Then There’s Now.

Justin Townes Earle: New Album & Tour Dates

FOLLOW-UP TO 2009′S MIDNIGHT AT THE MOVIES OUT SEPTEMBER 14 VIA BLOODSHOT
RECORDS

Justin Townes Earle

Bloodshot Records is pleased to announce the impending release of Harlem River Blues, the third
full-length from
Justin Townes Earle. The
record, in stores September 14, is the much-anticipated follow-up to 2009′s Midnight at
the Movies
.

Compared to the much-lauded Midnight at the Movies, Harlem River Blues is more mature and
increasingly
nuanced, while still embracing the raw voice and clean sound of previous standout tracks like “Mama’s Eyes.”
Featuring guest appearances from Jason Isbell, Bryn Davies and Calexico’s Paul Niehaus, it’s rockin’ and reelin’ at
times, sweet and slow at others – and it’s great. Like good fried chicken, a well-cut suit and a hand made guitar,
there’s heaven to be found in the beautifully crafted simpler things.

EOTO: Fall Tour & New Album

EOTO: Fall Tour & New Album

EOTO

While the genre of live electronica is relatively new on the music circuit, few are breaking the boundaries of live producing and improvisation like EOTO. Fusing elements of live instrumentation, house music, dubstep and electro into their dance ready sound, the band will be taking the country by storm beginning in late September for their perennial fall tour, performing 33 consecutive nights in a row.

Consisting of Michael Travis and Jason Hann of The String Cheese Incident, the duo mixes the organic sounds of live drums, keyboards, vocals, bass, percussion, and guitar through a variety of programs and gadgets to create a style of music that is more likely found in a dance club, then a live music theater. What sets EOTO apart from other artists in this emerging genre is how the music is created. While some artists may spend hours pre-mixing samples and elements of music for their live show, EOTO uses nothing pre-recorded, giving them the ability to approach each song with on-the-spot spontaneity and 100% live improvisation.

Beginning in late September and performing every single night in October, EOTO will hit the road with their long-awaited studio EP, Fire the Lazers!! This eleven-track journey into dubstep, electro and house music showcases their talents and skill in a growing dimension of music. In true EOTO spirit the album was produced with nothing planned or rehearsed, capturing only the best of what makes up their original sound. The album will be available on the road and by digital download in October of 2009.

AVAILABLE AT MIDNIGHT (September 4) FOR FREE!

SeepeopleS

SeepeopleS is proud to announce the release of their long-awaited fourth full-length album, Apocalypse Cow Vol.2. Over two and half years in the making, the release is a landmark in the evolution of SeepeopleS’ unique sound and a return to the hybrid rock and electronica that made their second album, The Corn Syrup Conspiracy, a true underground classic. The album is being released FOR FREE beginning September 4 at midnight on SeepeopleS’ website, www.seepeoples.com as a musical financial bailout (you’re welcome America). The twelve track version of the album will be available for download for six full months until the hard copy 17 track version is released in early Spring 2010, in time for the band’s 10 year anniversary.

SeepeopleS has been a known force in the underground music scene for years. Formed in Boston in 2000 by visionary songwriter, Will Bradford, the band relocated to North Carolina, which has been home since 2004. The band has shared the stage with such acts as Death Cab For Cutie, Franz Ferdinand, Ben Harper, Cracker, Blues Traveler, and the Presidents of the United States of America, to name a few, as well as touring with jam bands, Perpetual Groove and Lotus. Bradford has also done some extensive touring solo, most notably with Dave Matthews’ collaborator Tim Reynolds. While SeepeopleS has undergone numerous lineup changes over the years, the sound has always remained the focused vision of songwriter Will Bradford.

For more information on SeepeopleS and to download the new album please visit the band’s official website, www.seepeoples.com. More tour dates will be announced soon.
