Chris Robinson Brotherhood: Extensive Cali Shows Mar-May

OH LUCKY CALIFORNIA!

Little is currently known about the Chris Robinson Brotherhood outside of a real yen to play the Golden State a LOT and a couple of intriguing graphics at their website. A little birdie with a beard told us last summer that great SoCal musician Jonathan Wilson and fellow Black Crowe Adam MacDougall will be involved. He also said there’s a small pile of new songs he’s been itching to share. We’ll keep you updated as things develop, but at least you can mark your calendars for the launch of this new project as The Black Crowes begin the first phase of their hiatus.

Check out this blast from the past
, a chat with Chris right after the first Crowes hiatus as he began work on New Earth Mud!

Jack Johnson :: 10.13.10 :: Santa Barbara Bowl :: Santa Barbara, CA

G. Love by L. Paul Mann

Jack Johnson brought his feel good road show to the Santa Barbara Bowl for the first of two sold out nights. In fact, the shows had sold out shortly after they went on sale last April. Johnson, who has become one of the most successful pop stars in the country, has headlined nearly every major music festival in the nation. So the solid turnout was no big surprise for the hometown hero and master of California beach pop.

The show began early, in typical Jack Johnson style, with an impromptu acoustic jam in the garden just inside the venue. Johnson and longtime friend G. Love performed a short pre-concert jam, before most fans had any idea what was happening. After a few quick songs, Johnson bolted up the hill with his newest offspring in tow, just as a bewildered crowd began to jam the walkway.

The main stage show began right on schedule with an opening set by miniature Malaysian singer Zee Avi. The tiny singer with a big voice has become a recording sensation with a large Asian fan base on the heels of her self-titled debut album. Her music was discovered on YouTube, and found its way to Jack Johnson’s record company with the help of Patrick Keeler of Raconteur fame. Avi paints an interesting musical canvas with her pleasantly soothing voice wrapped around sounds from many musical genres. When playing her ukulele, she channels the sounds of the Pacific Islands, but with her band, the sound blends indie pop and jazz to create interesting textures. In a true testament to the power of the Internet, her music has become popular purely by the will of her fast rising fan base. The early bird crowd responded politely to her sweet sounds.

As the afternoon light faded to twilight, G. Love and Special Sauce hit the stage. G. Love has been making his own unique brand of hip hop infused Philadelphia blue since the mid 1990s. Always a great live performer and consummate entertainer, the musician seems equally at home as a street musician with a harmonica & beat-up guitar or a bandleader in front of a large amphitheatre crowd. G. Love has become forever entwined in the career of Jack Johnson. He first featured Johnson on his 1999 album Philadelphonic and played a version of “Rodeo Clowns” long before the world knew of the future California surfer musician phenomenon. Johnson opened for G. Love on his earliest tours. Now G Love records on Brushfire Records, Johnson’s label, and frequently opens for the musical prodigy he helped discover. G. Love and Special Sauce offered a funky, blues drenched live show that had many of the elements that make New Orleans music such a great live sound. The crowd greeted the band with an enthusiastic response throughout their 60-minute set.

Jack Johnson by L. Paul Mann

As a cool October evening fell on the Bowl, Jack Johnson emerged right on schedule to begin his triumphant two-hour set. It was no surprise that his presence was a catalyst for a vociferous, adulate crowd since the local surfer still maintains a house in Santa Barbara, and is considered a local hero. What was a surprise was how much his music and live performance have matured. Johnson has sold over 8 million records in less than a decade with his largely innocuous soft rock sound. His simplistic approach to music with a fine laidback sound has endeared him to a huge worldwide fan base. At the same time, fans of more complex music have criticized his sound as monotonous and uninspired. In fact, his live shows over the years have been lessons in minimalism, in both style and substance. But with the release of his most recent album and the subsequent tour, a more complex, mature musician has emerged.

Johnson now spends extensive time on the electric guitar, playing more intricate chords and riffs than in the past. His band has also followed his more upbeat, evolved sound. His drummer now sports a complete drum set and uses it to create a much more complex backbeats than in the past. His keyboard player Zach Gill (ALO) plays extensive honky tonk solos in the new work, too. Even Johnson’s bass player has taken on a new deeper, richer sound live. To be sure, Johnson still pulls out the acoustic guitar for some of his early, simpler hit songs, but his newer, throatier material provides a perfect juxtaposition to the older classics, painting a much more interesting and varied live portrait.

Johnson’s use of multimedia in his live shows also continues to morph into new and interesting directions. A large panoramic screen was painted in layers of environmental colors and images, interspersed with live inserts of the band and the crowd. The ever-evolving backdrop created a living link to the performance in a unique, artistic way. A steady stream of musical guests, also added additional layers to the show. Guests included Zee Avi on ukulelele and ALO guitarist Dan Lebowitz, amongst others. But it was the extended appearance near the end of the show by G. Love that was the highlight, and brought the evening full circle back to the impromptu garden jam. Singing, dancing and playing guitar and harmonica, the musical maestro clearly reveled in his performance with his former protege turned pop icon.

Fans of jam music may dismiss Jack Johnson’s music as being too simplistic, but they may want to give his newer music another listen. They just may be surprised at how much the surfer boy sound has matured. He may grow up to be a true jam musician yet.

Steve Martin | California | Review | Pics

Steve Marting & The Steep Canyon Rangers :: 10.08.10 :: Granada Theatre :: Santa Barbara, CA

Steve Martin by L. Paul Mann

The big question on everyone’s mind when Steve Martin made his much anticipated appearance in Santa Barbara was whether he would be funny or serious about his musical performance. The answer turned out to be a bit of both.

The sold out show took place in the newly renovated Granada Theatre . It took nearly a decade and tens of millions of dollars to restore the historic 1550 seat performing arts venue to its former glory and beyond. With an original grand opening in April of 1924, the eight-story structure was the only tall building to survive the devastating 1925 earthquake in downtown Santa Barbara. Subsequent city ordinances and strict building codes have ensured that the Granada remains the only tall building now and in the future in this conservative town. An almost over the top restoration has created one of the most beautiful and comfortable venues in the nation. Sponsored by the UCSB Arts and Lectures Series, which brings a treasure trove of multimedia and live performances to the city each year, the event attracted a sold out crowd, largely composed of academicians. Taking advantage of discounted tickets, UCSB staff and students flocked to the show, creating an invigorating and insightfully appreciative crowd.

The mercurial Martin actually seems to have more than two brains with his ability to excel in most any endeavor he attempts. He has mastered the art of filmmaking as a director, writer and actor. He was written countless books from biographies to children’s stories. He even has become a successful painter whose canvases are praised by many critics in the art world. But in Santa Barbara this night, the 64-year-old Martin kicked off the second night of his new tour doing the two things he loves most: “Comedy and charging people to listen to music.”

From the moment he stepped onstage, it was apparent that the king of 1970s stand-up comedy had not lost his brilliance as a humorist. Posing in an endless array of crazy facial expressions that have defined him for decades, he immediately launched into band introductions. “Hello Santa Barbara, these are the Steep Canyon Rangers,” he said as the group received a standing ovation. “The local newspaper called them the ‘Steep Canyon Ramblers’.” A hilarious diatribe about the difference between Rangers and Ramblers came next. Then he quipped, “Oh, now I wish I’d practiced. It’s a longtime dream of mine to do bluegrass in Santa Barbara. Now I am one step closer to that dream.” Then he launched straight into a frenetic bluegrass jam titled “Pitkin County Turnaround” from his Grammy Award winning new album The Crow. The stage was set for the evening, as Martin followed nearly every song with what began as an innocuous comedic rambling and ended with an insightful, witty story. The academics in the crowd answered with wild applause and laughter following his witty punchlines and even some of his more obscure references. Indeed, at times the evening almost felt like a college lecture, albeit a hilarious one, on the History of Bluegrass in America.

Martin & Rangers by L. Paul Mann

As funny as his diatribes were, his music held equal weight throughout the night. Martin, who actually began playing banjo at the age of five, has been an accomplished musician for decades. In his earliest stand-up routines, which sometimes resembled a vintage vaudeville stage show, he would surprise the audience with a flash of brilliant banjo picking, although it was usually while wearing a cap with a fake arrow stuck through it. The North Carolina-based Steep Canyon Rangers are a masterful bluegrass group who are successful in their own right. Combined with Martin’s amazing songwriting and banjo prowess, they are a musical tour de force.

As Martin struggled to tune his four banjos throughout the night it was hard to tell how much of his banter was scripted and how much was improv. He spent several minutes playing with his new iPad, which he used to store the setlist. At one point he stopped to post a tweet, which he end with the typical LOL but spelled out in long form. After a song he wrote for his dog (where the fiddle player made barking sounds on his instrument), Martin’s dog actually made a sweep across the stage behind him. Such hilarious moments rolled over the audience like a runaway train. Wondering if some in the crowd were just curious to see a movie star play banjo, he imagined some might think it was like “Jerry Seinfeld playing a night of original song for the bassoon.” Martin then got to plug his new song “Bird Alert,” which will appear on the soundtrack of the new film Big Year. The film, in which he has a part, centers on the story of competitive bird watching and stars Jack Black and Owen Wilson. “I’m finally getting a break in life,” Martin sneered.

After the first rambunctious hour ended, Martin retreated backstage with a beer that Charles R. Humphrey III pulled out of his stand-up bass. The Steep Canyon Rangers then had a chance to showcase their talents on a medley of songs ending with a fantastic acappella take on the bluegrass gospel classic “I Can’t Sit Down.” Then in typical Steve Martin fashion, the veteran performer returned triumphantly to the stage to lead the group in another acappella Martin original entitled “Atheists Don’t Have No Songs.” From this point on, the brilliant comedy and masterful music seemed to meld into one great performance and it became hard to separate the two.

The band played a bluegrass classic “Orange Blossom Special” for the encore, which featured Nicky Sanders, the group’s prodigy fiddle player. Doing a mash-up jam composed of fine fiddle prowess, he led the group through snippets of songs ranging from The Beatles and The Beach Boys to classical music. Finally coming full circle, in what seemed like a fitting finale, Martin played his first campy classic musical hit, “King Tut.” The 1978 novelty hit resounded across a standing, cheering crowd throughout the restored Granada, which opened in 1924 about the same time that King Tut’s tomb was discovered in Egypt.

West Beach Music Fest | Pics | Review

Words & Images by: L. Paul Mann

West Beach Music Festival :: 09.24.10-09.25.10 :: Santa Barbara, CA

Day 1

WBMF Grounds 2010

Despite a slew of seemingly insurmountable roadblocks thrown up by the Santa Barbara City Council, the fourth annual West Beach Festival went off without a hitch the last weekend of September. Music fans were greeted with some of the first hot, sunny weather after one of the coldest, foggiest summers in Coastal California’s history. The scaled back festival was actually moved to Santa Barbara’s East Beach, along a palm lined grassy field that made for the perfect backdrop to the warm weather. Among the city’s restrictions, the festival was scaled back from three days to two and attendance was limited to half of last year’s record 14,000 people. The city also limited in and out privileges, sound levels and alcohol consumption (4 drinks per person per day). But despite all the restrictions, there were nothing but smiles all around on happy music fans throughout the grounds.

Twin Productions has been able to create a unique festival over the last four years, built around their core interest in reggae and beach music. Most of the acts booked are carefully selected world music artists, flying just under the radar of pop music fame, with a few headliners thrown in to add broader credibility to the event. Although most of the acts playing the main stage share reggae roots, the fest’s unique approach and vast cultural differences create a smorgasbord of sounds. West Beach Festival probably has more in common with Peter Gabriel s’ 30 year old WOMAD Festival than any other event. WOMAD was the first pop music festival to feature all types of bands from across the globe. West Beach also adds an electronic music stage into the mix to keep young techno fans dancing. A beautiful sunny day greeted early bird music fans for day one of the festival. Here are some of highlights.

Vancouver-based Red Eye Empire rocked the main stage early on. Their funky reggae infused sound is reminiscent of G Love & Special Sauce, and the band, in fact, has toured with G Love several times. Through The Roots were up next with the beach party oriented California sound. Hawaiian singer Anuhea (a cool breeze of the heavenly rose) brought a mellow island vibe during their sweltering afternoon set, with the crowd lounging on beach blankets during this set.

Over on the electronic music stage, Oakland-based rappers Zion I were the first act to draw a sizable crowd of enthusiastic, young fans on Saturday. Next, as the hot afternoon sun began to fade, Rey Fresco greeted a refreshed audience in front of the main stage. The Ventura, CA-based band is a veritable world music jam encapsulated in one group. Hailing from Fiji, lead singer Roger Keiaho offers a distinctive vocal style. Blonde surfer Andrew Jones not only plays the drums but manufactures them as well. Bassist Shawn Echevarria brings a Latin rhythm to the band. Finally, harpist Xoco Morazo adds a unique touch to the group, playing a variety of custom harps built by his father.

Rebelution @ WBMF ’10

A fired up crowd was ready for the next main stage act, San Diego-based Mike Pinto. Originally from Philadelphia, this roots rocker is far more at home playing beachy surf music. He already has a big following in many Pacific islands like Guam and Hawaii.

As dusk fell, one of the most well received bands of the festival truly brought the growing crowd alive. Katchafire, hailing from New Zealand, is comprised of indigenous Maori musicians playing lush roots reggae with their own cultural sounds in the mix.

Collie Buddz brought his unique mix of dance hall, Soca and hip hop to the main stage as night fell. Born in New Orleans and raised in Bermuda, his style is truly his own.

Saturday’s headliner was Santa Barbara’s own Rebelution. The band’s popular Cali-reggae sound has recently exploded in popularity and the group has been headlining large venues across the country. The band was greeted by a smoky, smiling, gyrating crowd. At the same time, electronic music wizards Savoy were closing out the electronic music stage in front of a younger crowd of enthusiastic fans. The Boulder, CO trio, including a live drummer, merges a mash up of styles from European house to 70s and 80s dance music to create their fresh new sound. As day one of West Beach Festival 2010 wound down, smiling music fans could be seen from one end of the venue to the other.

Day 2

Lime Riders @ WBMF ’10

Sunday at the West Beach Music Festival started bright and early with blazing sunshine and music on all stages by 12 noon. Cuervo, which came on board as a last minute corporate sponsor and helped save the event from early termination, produced a giant playground for young adults with the Cuervo Pavilion. It came complete with an artificial rock wall, where volunteer teams from the audience would compete for prizes while being doused with gallons of water. Other games featured a giant mechanical lime that participants could ride like a mechanical bull. A few bikini-clad girls ended up with minor bloody noses, but were still smiling nevertheless. Most of the games featured some sort of water dousing, which became very inviting as the temperature in Santa Barbara soared to over 90-degrees.

While some fans frolicked at the games, others danced to their favorite bands on the multiple stages. Giant Panda Guerilla Dub Sound played an early set in the sweltering midday sun. The New York-based band plays experimental dub reggae but also takes a page from jam bands like Phish by never playing the same set twice and improvising extensively live. Indeed, the band played two entirely different sets in Santa Barbara on this day. The West Beach Fest set sounded like traditional reggae and created a mellow tone in line with the mood of a sweltering early crowd. At the after-show later in the evening at the Soho nightclub, the band played a much more upbeat dub drenched set. The sound was reminiscent of The Clash when they began to experiment with reggae. Giant Panda has built a loyal following by playing over 500 shows in the last three years. The band offers free downloads of their music at LivePanda.com.

Central Coast band Still Time hit the main stage next with a blues-drenched set of upbeat tunes. This relatively young band has become a regional favorite, playing up and down the coast for the last five years. Their unique, bluesy style has been compared to music masters like Dave Matthews and Ben Harper. The band was the perfect lead-in to the next main stage act, JJ Grey & Mofro. The funky blues boogie band from Jacksonville, FL has been a staple on the festival circuit for nearly a decade. Mofro brought a sweltering mid-afternoon crowd to their feet for a shuffling dance extravaganza.

UB40 @ WBMF ’10

As the relentless afternoon sun began to subside, Australian new-roots reggae sensation The Beautiful Girls hit the stage. Led by charismatic lead singer Matt McHugh, the band had bikini clad girls screaming and dancing in front of the West Beach crowd. Another unique new hybrid group, their sound has been compared to bands as diverse as The Police and Ben Harper.

As a spectacular sunset fell over the festival grounds, the most anticipated band of the festival exploded onto the stage in a spectacular blazing light show. UB40, one of the veterans of the English ska and reggae movement, has sold over 70 million records since they got together in the late 70s. The band did not disappoint, offering a larger-than-life live show featuring animated dance routines and lively solo performances from many of the more than one dozen jamming musicians onstage.

At the same time, electronic music duo Pretty Lights had a smaller crowd of younger fans in a dancing frenzy in front of the electronic music stage. As the second night of the West Beach Music Festival wound to a close, bands like Soja and The Easy Star All-Stars had music fans grooving and smiling till the 10 p.m. curfew brought the 2010 festival to a close.

Willie Nelson :: 09.23.10 :: Santa Barbara Bowl :: Santa Barbara, CA

Ryan Bingham by L. Paul Mann

“Living legend” is an oft-overused phrase in the music world, but 76-year- old Willie Nelson has surely earned the title. The proponent of American roots country music has created relevant music for close to 60 years while touring relentlessly. His bigger than life personal experiences and iconic outlaw image also help to bolster his legendary status.

Modern country-oriented rocker Ryan Bingham played an opening set with his band The Dead Horses. Singing in his trademark gravel voice, Bingham set the tone for the evening, playing a low-key set. The 29-year-old Academy Award winning singer-songwriter has been a regular on the festival circuit the last few years, often surrounded by indie rockers, where his concerts tend to be more rock ‘n’ roll in tone. At the Bowl, he offered a more intimate, almost folk sound. Bandmates Corby Schaub (guitar, mandolin), Elijah Ford (bass) and Matthew Smith (drums) followed Bingham’s lead playing with a subdued style that highlighted Bingham’s unique vocal skills and allowed an appreciative audience to absorb his masterful lyrics.

Shortly before dark, Nelson sauntered onstage with Trigger, his ragged acoustic guitar. Like Bingham, Nelson has played countless large music festival over the last few years and toured with a ramped-up band that gives a rock & roll road show quality to recent his live performances. However, his current tour offers a quieter show, something akin to a jazz club or honky tonk affair.

He largely played the same set his fans have come to expect over the years. “Whiskey River” was followed by “Still Is Still Moving To Me,” an almost mandatory opening pair for any Willie concert. But with a toned down band, this show offered a much more intimate and surprisingly more interesting view of the iconic songwriter’s talents. His twangy old guitar was prominent in the mix and his raspy vocals were easier to decipher and follow than usual. With fans hanging on his every word, the ability to hear his lyrics more succinctly seemed to bind the crowd more tightly to their favorite musical outlaw. His band included his little sister Bobbie Nelson on piano, longtime drummer Paul English on a simple single snare drum, Mickey Raphael on harmonica, and Billy English, Bee Spears and Jody Payne on backing vocals. With Nelson’s voice & guitar in the forefront of the subdued arrangments, mandatory classics like the Nelson-penned Patsy Cline hit “Crazy” and “On The Road Again” had folks dancing in the aisles and singing every line.

After the show, appreciative fans filed past Nelson’s biodiesel tour bus with wide smiles for the American icon that never seems to tire of touring.

Phoenix & Neon Indian :: 09.19.10 :: Santa Barbara Bowl :: Santa Barbara, CA

Phoenix’s Thomas
Mars

A youthful energetic crowd arrived early for a concert by the Grammy winning French electronic rock group Phoenix. The early bird fans were
treated to an opening set by chillwave band Neon Indian. Chillwave is one of the latest labels for what is essentially the evolution of
electronic music. Ever since John Cage began experimenting with electronic gadgets in the 1940s to create a new
form of music, musicians have been transforming the synth music sound into an ever-evolving art form. At the
same time, music journalists have been constantly striving to invent new labels to describe each progressive wave of
innovative electronic music. Neon Indian is the brainchild of Alan Palamo. Much like John Cage before
him, Palamo began creating his music alone, experimenting along the way with new electronic music techniques. He
creates his music using a loop based Mac software program called Albeton Live. One of the first software
sequencers designed to be used in concert, Abelton Live is truly a whole new way to perform live electronic music.
Onstage, Palamo is joined by Ronald Gierhart (guitar), Jason Faries (drums) and Leanne
Macomber
(keyboards). The trio creates a rich jam band backdrop to Palomos’ eerie synths. Music critics were
instantly enthralled by the band’s first release, Psychic Chasms, and their live shows have received near-
universal praise. The band was the perfect warm up for Phoenix, and their dreamy sound sent many fans into a
dancing trance.

As the the sun set into the Pacific Ocean and twilight fell over the Santa Barbara Bowl, an impatient crowd surged
towards the stage in anticipation of Phoenix, who finally obliged and took to the stage in an explosion of light and
sound. They wasted no time enrapturing the audience, opening with their biggest hit “Listzomania.” Thousands of
frenzied fans gyrated to the music and screamed their approval. Charismatic vocalist Thomas Mars
immediately engaged the crowd and sang confidently in his quirky trademark voice.

Phoenix’s Deck
D’Arcy

One of the most widely successful pop acts ever to emerge from France, partly because they write interesting lyrics
and sing in English, Phoenix has developed a unique sound. Like their label mates Air, the band exhibits some of the telltale
traits popular with other French pop bands like strong synth tracks and overpowering bass lines. But the band also
features strong English language harmonies and visceral rock jams, uncharacteristic of other successful French
groups. The resulting sound has enabled the band to create steady stream of hits for the past decade. Their latest
album, Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix, has propelled Phoenix into an arena filling live band, who sold out the
18,000 seat Hollywood Bowl the night before the Santa Barbara show.

Phoenix is now a veteran live rock act and besides Mars’ commanding presence all the core members have become
consummate performers, as well as accomplished musicians. Guitar players Laurent Brancowitz and
Christian Mazzalai prance about the stage, dancing and smiling while trading riffs and meshing catchy
rhythms. Bassist Deck D’Arcy lays down a mesmerizing, relentless beat uncharacteristic of his French pop
roots.

By the time the band played their fourth and final encore song, “1901,” the entire Santa Barbara crowd was in a
dancing frenzy. The synth drenched dance club hit is mandatory on any contemporary DJ’s playlist. This final song
brought the band’s 90-minute set full circle, delivering sheer excitement from the opening notes to the final closing
crescendo. Vive La Phoenix!

Phoenix Setlist
Lisztomania, Lasso, Long Distance, Fences, Girlfriend, Armistice, North, Love Like a Sunset, Pt. I, Love Like a Sunset,
Pt. 2, Run Run Run, If I Ever Feel Better, Rally, Rome, Funky Squaredance

Furthur | Santa Barbara | Pics | Review

Furthur :: 09.20.10 :: Santa Barbara Bowl :: Santa Barbara, CA

Bob Weir by L. Paul
Mann

Alive and well, despite being quite Dead, Phil Lesh and Bob Weir brought Furthur to the Santa Barbara Bowl
last week. Playing a marathon show lasting three and a half hours (with a 30 minute intermission), the fathers of
jam band music and their new entourage proved they are still masters of their genre. The show began right at the
official 6 pm start time and had aging fans dancing and prancing from the moment they arrived onstage. It seemed
everywhere you looked someone was doing some sort of hippy dance. Although most of the crowd was middle-
aged and up, there were a surprising number of new wave hippies in their teens and twenties. Throw in a few
hundred young children and the crowd truly represented every demographic, resembling a sort of giant, undulating
commune.

Furthur is really just an extension of the original Grateful Dead, featuring original members Lesh and Weir with
longtime RatDog keyboardist Jeff Chimenti, Former Dark Star Orchestra guitarist John Kadlecik,
Joe Russo on drums, and backup singers, Sunshine Garcia Becker and Jeff Pehrson.
Like the original Dead, Furthur changes the setlist for every performance. It is one of the reasons that avid fans
follow the band from city to city and will attend multiple concerts hoping to hear seldom-played rare gems in the
Dead catalog.

The Santa Barbara show featured most of side one of their 1975 record Blues for Allah, including “Franklin’s
Tower,” which had the crowd chanting the chorus (“roll awayÂ…the dew”) in happy unison. In addition to many Dead
classics, the band also played “Money for Gasoline” from Weir’s RatDog project and a new song called “Seven Hills of
Gold.” Two classic covers – Traffic’s “Feelin Alright” and The Beatles’ “Come Together” – also had fans singing like a
church choir. At the end of the second set, nearly four hours after the show began, Lesh made a brief plea for
people to donate their organs and discussed the liver transplant that had saved his life. The band then played a final
song, “Attics of My Life,” and took a long bow. It has been a long strange trip indeed, and for these veteran
musicians it hasn’t ended yet.

Setlist
Set I:Hell In a Bucket, Cream Puff War, Feelin’ Alright, Me and My Uncle, Althea, Money for Gasoline, Comes
a Time, Turn On Your Lovelight
Set II: Viola Lee Blues (first and second verses), Seven Hills of Gold, Viola Lee Blues (third verse), The
Eleven, King Solomon’s Marbles, Days Between, Help on the Way > Slipknot!> Franklin’s Tower
E:Donor Rap (liver transplant recipient Lesh’s plea for people to become organ donors), Come Together,
Attics of My Life
