Acclaimed filmmaker James Cameron’s 3-D sci-fi epic “Avatar” has received eight nominations at the upcoming British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) 2010 Thursday.
The Sam Worthington starrer alien drama is facing competition from Lone Scherfig’s “An Education” and Kathryn Bigelow directed “The Hurt Locker” both of which have also got eight nominations.
