After more than a year of maneuvering, Microsoft has finally secured some semblance of a partnership with Yahoo. It’s not the buyout that Microsoft originally bid for. But it’s something that might prove better for both companies and corporate users a search partnership under which Yahoo will host Microsoft’s Bing search engine on its sites in return for the lion’s share of advertising revenue. Although a lot of details have to be worked out before the partnership is implemented, it can only be good for the enterprise search users.
