Swedish authorities have arrested Bosnian citizen Zemir KovaÄević who is suspected of war crimes against Serb civilians in 1992 in Bosnia-Herzegovina.
The Swedish prosecution did not release any details of the indictment.

Croatian politician and former high ranking army officer Branimir Glavaš was arrested in Bosnia-Herzegovina on Tuesday.
GlavaÅ¡ holds both Croatian and Bosnian citizenships, and was found guilty and sentenced to eight years in prison in Zagreb for 1991 war crimes committed against Croatia’s ethnic Serb civilians.

The Municipal Court in Rijeka, Croatia, has reduced Mirko Norac’s two prison terms into a single sentence that should keep him in jail for 15 years. The former Croatian general was found guilty of committing war crimes against Serb civilians in Croatia’s Gospić and MedaÄki Pocket regions, during the war in that country in the early 1990′s.

President Boris Tadić today reacted to his Croatian counterpart Stjepan Mesić’s decision to shorten prison sentence of a Croat war criminal. Mesić on Thursday reduced by one year jail time served by SiniÅ¡a Rimac, convicted of killing 23 ethnic Serb civilians in Croatia in 1991.

A service will be held on Thursday to mark the tenth anniversary of the murder of 14 Kosovo Serb civilians in Staro Gracko near Lipljan. 14 villagers, including one young boy, were killed during an ambush as they worked their land on July 23, 1999.

Italian authorities yesterday arrested a Kosovo Albanian wanted by Serbia on war crimes charges. Muarem Gasi was a member of the so-called Kosovo Liberation Army, KLA, and is believed to have killed two Serb civilians during the 1999 conflict in the province. He was detained on an international arrest warrant.
