Passport conditions for Kosovo residents published

The decree for confirming whether conditions have been met for giving Serbian citizens living in Kosovo passports has been published. Persons applying for a Serbian passport will have to go through checks by ministries and security services regarding home addresses and where they are living at the moment.

“We’re focused on visa road map”

The government is fully committed to meet the remaining conditions from the road map in order to have the EU scrap its visas for Serbians, says Milica Delević. “We’re moving in the right direction to meet all the necessary conditions in time, so that the Serbian citizens can travel without visas after the new year,” the head of the government EU integration office told B92.

Crime group arrested in Kosovo

The Kosovo police have arrested one more alleged member of a seven-person crime group suspected of robbery, drug trade and organized crime. Three of the earlier arrested suspects are Serbian citizens and four are persons from Kosovo.

Kosovo police, KPS, have arrested seven persons suspected of belonging to an organized crime group. KPS spokesman Arber Beka told journalists today that three of those arrested are “Serbian citizens”, while others are “Kosovo citizens from various ethnic communities, including Albanians”.

2 Serbians die in Hungary crash

Two Serbian citizens died early this morning, while another was seriously injured, in a car crash in southern Hungary. The three were driving in an Austrian license plates minivan when the accident happened.
