I would like to share my opinions and what I have learnt from the past experience after working and reading for so many years. Singapore’s economy will probably expand in 2011 at a third of this year’s pace as manufacturing and export growth slows, a central bank survey showed.
Gross domestic product may increase 5.1% next year after a 15% expansion in 2010, according to the median estimate in a survey of 22 economists by the Monetary Authority of Singapore released today. The Singapore dollar may strengthen to $1.24 versus the U.S. currency by the end of 2011, the survey showed.

Here’s a picture from Portugal’s electric mobility initiative – Mobi-E – of one of its slow charging points in the country.
More than 50 are already installed in Portugal but talking to just-auto from Lisbon today (15 November), a Mobi-E spokeswoman said the machines would take up to eight hours to recharge an electric vehicle.
Well, as it says on the tin, it’s a slow charger. Quick chargers – which are in the process of being installed in Portugal will take around 30min – while all new homes in the country will apparently also come equipped with charging points.
Eight hours seems a long time to leave your car in a public place being charged up – will EV owners feel comfortable with that?
And will all charging points come equipped with festive balloons too?

STI +0.8% at 3231.36 at levels last hit May 2008; broad market advance with 295 gainers vs 129 losers; benchmark +3.4% since last Wednesday’s 1.2% fall, which now looks like minor correction to recent upward march.
DBS Vickers says following STI’s September to mid-October run-up (about 300 points to 3220), “we see the index holding sideways as it heads into the year-end holiday lull.”

Singapore exports likely to slow further as demand slows, advantage of favorable base erodes, says CIMB economist Song Seng Wun; tips 4Q exports in high single digits or “low teens” with further moderation in 1Q of 2011.
“We have seen the peak already. Exports may have topped out perhaps a little earlier this year and this was evident in the easing of shipping rates,” Song says after data show Singapore September non-oil domestic exports growth slows to 22.7% on year, vs August’s downwardly-revised +30.8%. Also, exports down 4.5% seasonally adjusted on month vs +9.8% in August.

A straight forward answer for this question that why does a slow pc issue occur is there is not a single reason behind it ( though certainly it is possible that very few times a single reason may cause a pc slower like a hardware issue e.g. faulty RAM or bad or corrupt driver etc). The basic cause behind the slow PC is bunch of issues within the computer and just removing one cannot resolve the issue. So always be aware of this fact that number issues might be several behind a slow PC.

Despite raising 2010 earnings forecasts significantly on Asian container shipping sector, Deutsche Bank turns cautious going into 2H10, according to Dow Jones.
Deutsche Bank says industry recovery surprised on upside, expects decent 2Q profits, early signs suggest 3Q will be even better, but notes channel checks point to 4Q industry slowdown, increasing supply presents sector headwinds in 2011.
The research house also forecasts supply growth to accelerate from 2010’s 9.4% to 10.3% in 2011, outpacing house’s demand growth forecast of 9.4%.
