Smart electric vehicles are a big project at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Cambridge. Electric vehicles could be delivered when drivers need the cars, rather than have cars sitting parking lots waiting for a driver. These new technology transportation systems incorporate new batteries, new electric motors, GPS, computers, and search technologies to deliver a new driving experience. It seems everyone these days is looking for ways to browse smarter and worked harder, yet more efficiently while theyre online. Thankfully, there are many tools that can help you do just that. From thousands of productivity applications for your smartphone and computer to virus protection software that could truly change the way you protect your machine, good software tools are simply part of the shared vocabulary in the online word. Unfortunately, so are rogue software programs, and despite how helpful the name sounds, many of these arent ready to help you at all. In fact, theyre not even designed to help you. The program coding simply isnt there. Smart Engine is one such rogue security program, and unlike its name, its really not a very intelligent thing to have installed on your computer.

FOR decades vaccines were a neglected corner of the drugs business, with old technology, little investment and abysmal profit margins. Many firms sold their vaccine divisions to concentrate on more profitable drugs. This troubled public-health experts because vaccines are a highly effective way of dealing with diseases.
Happily, a renaissance is under way. Global vaccine sales vaulted from $8.9 billion in 2005 to $22.2 billion last year. Insurers and governments in the rich world have started to pay higher prices: firms making new vaccines against pneumococcal disease or the human papilloma virus are getting $100 or more per dose. Google Maps Gets Smarter Suggest Feature, Google Buzz Layer

Google April 22 extended its Suggest feature for Google Maps to 10 more domains and eight additional languages, including United States, China, Brazil, Canada, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Italy, Netherlands, Russia, Spain, Taiwan and the United Kingdom. Google also made its Google Buzz layer available on Google Maps for the desktop, and added Search by voice functionality for Google Maps 4.1 on Windows Mobile and Symbian S60 phones.
