Ukrainian TV stations licenses revoked
The International Press Institute (IPI) expressed grave concern for the state of media freedom in Ukraine, its associate SEEMO has announced.
The reaction came after a court ruling forced one TV station off the air and limited the licenses of another.
Telekom posts guards at base stations
Telekom Serbia and Telenor cell phone lines and landlines have been out of commission for four straight days in parts of Kosovo and Metohija. This came after the Kosovo Albanian authorities in Priština aided by Kosovo police, KPS, disabled 40 base stations, in central Kosovo, leaving some 100,000 local Serbs without service.

Shanghai Hui Yang New Energy Technology Co., a company in which Swing Media Technology Group has agreed to acquire an 80% stake last October, has been contracted to install solar-powered energy systems for 20 petrol stations in China.
Rotol wins $3.95m contract for Farrer, Thomson and Botanical Gardens MRT stations
Rotol Singapore says the group has been awarded a $3.95 million contract for the supply, delivery and installation of above-ground level works and external works at Farrer, Thomson and Botanical Gardens MRT stations. The project will start immediately and is expected to be completed before Sept 30. The group expects this contract to contribute to its results for the financial year.

Kosovo: “Alternative” voting stations
The Kosovo election commission will set up “alternative polling stations for areas where Serbs make up a majority of the population”. The decision came after local elementary schools in these towns decided not to allow polling stations to be set up at their premises, according to Albanian language media in PriÅ¡tina.
Repeat voting at two Kosovo polling stations
Voting in the local parliamentary elections for the municipalities of Priština and Peć was repeated at two polling stations on Sunday. Coordinator of the Election Commission (RIK) Veljko Odalović told Tanjug news agency that both stations closed last night without any noticeable irregularities.
