Parkway off 1% despite medical suites sale

Parkway Holdings (P27.SG) fails to hold on to early gains, and is off 1% at $3.08 in thin volume vs high of $3.12 (+0.3%), reported Dow Jones Newswires.

The stock was hardly moved by news of healthcare group launching initial sale of its medical suites at upcoming Novena hospital in Singapore, despite exercise being touted by analysts as share price catalyst.

Parkway may gain on medical suites sale news

Parkway Holdings (P27.SG) may rise on hopes of firm demand for healthcare group’s medical suites, which company has put up for sale at prices higher than market expectations, said Dow Jones Newswires.

Anticipation of Parkway selling medical suites at its upcoming Novena hospital in Singapore has been building up for over a year, with analysts tipping sale as catalyst for share price as move expected to help drive earnings, beef up balance sheet.

Lippo’s Centennia Suites 70% sold in preview

Following a weekend preview of Centennia Suites, Lippo Real Estate says some 70% of the 30 units released have been sold at an average of $2,000 to $2,100 psf. In a Feb 10 statement, the developer says there are still a couple of negotiations underway and that the project will be marketed overseas after the Chinese New Year, with a focus on Jakarta, before returning to Singapore.

CapitaLand says 60 units in Phase 1 of Urban Suites fully sold

CapitaLand says all 60 units in phase one of its Urban Suites luxury condominium were sold at prices ranging from $2,400 to $2,700 per square foot.

Preview sales had started just before the Christmas holidays in December 2009.

Located in the Cairnhill area, Urban Suites is a luxury development with 165 apartments.

Ninety units at its Marina Bay Suites sold at between $2,200–$2,500

Marina Bay Financial Centre, a joint venture involving Keppel Land (KLAN.SI), Hongkong Land (HKLD.SI) and Cheung Kong (0001.HK), said late yesterday it sold 90 units at its Marina Bay Suites development in the central business district. The units sold for between $2,200 and $2,500 per square foot, higher than recently the transacted prices for apartments at neighbouring projects, according to local press reports.

Eight-two percent of Lincoln Suites snapped up within 4 days of soft launch

Koh Brothers Group, Heeton Holdings, KSH Holdings and Lian Beng Group says the soft launch of their joint development, Lincoln Suites, says about 82% or 46 units of the 56 units under Phase 1 of Lincoln Suites were snapped up during the weekend (Oct 24–25). This comprised 15 studio units and 31 one- to-three bedroom units.

Lincoln Suites, a 30-storey, freehold, 175-unit luxury twin tower condominium development conveniently located along Khiang Guan Avenue, off Newton Road, held its soft launch to invited guests on Oct 22.
