STX OSV Holdings says it has secured new contracts with Farstad Shipping, a major international supplier of large, modern offshore support vessels. Valued at approximately NOK 1.3 billion ($281 million), the contracts include a total of four Platform Supply Vessels scheduled for delivery in 2012 and 2013.

Sinotel qualified as vendor to supply, build China Mobile Muitmedia Broadcast Network
Mainboard-listed Sinotel Technologies, the provider of wireless telecommunications infrastructure and solutions in China, says the group has been qualified by China Broadcast Corporation (CBC) as a vendor to supply and build the CMMB (China Mobile Multimedia Broadcast) network.
The CMMB network is an extension of traditional television broadcasting systems and captures its audience through mobile devices while on the move. Broadcasting under the “Jing Cai” brand name, CBC has already launched various divisions using the CMMB network that now includes movie channel, an emergency broadcast system, access to real-time financial markets, traffic information and other services.
