Å utanovac expects mission to NATO by mid 2010

Defense Minister Dragan Å utanovac says he expects that Serbia will open a mission to NATO in Brussels by mid 2010. He added that Brigadier-General NebojÅ¡a Đukanović will take over the duty of the country’s military official.

Defense Minister Dragan Šutanovac says that Serbia is not currently interested in applying for NATO membership. Šutanovac added that the organization had never set that as a condition for further enhancing cooperation. “On the contrary, Serbia adopted a resolution on military neutrality in relation to its existing military alliances and this concept must be developed further,” he said.

Tadić, Šutanovac travel to Tripoli
