Serbian President Boris Tadić will be in Cyprus today and tomorrow on an official visit. According to a statement released by the president’s press service, Tadić is scheduled to meet today with Cyprus President Dimitris Christofias and Archbishop of Nea Justiniana and All Cyprus Chrysostomos II.

President’s cabinet denies “talks with Thaci” speculation
President Boris Tadić’s cabinet denied reports from PriÅ¡tina that Tadić would be “heading technical negotiations” with Kosovo Albanian officials. Tadić’s cabinet told Beta news agency in Belgrade on Friday that Serbia wants to negotiate the status of Kosovo, and supports negotiations with PriÅ¡tina regarding technical questions, but that a country’s president should not head such talks.

President Boris Tadić says that he and U.S. Deputy Secretary of State James Steinberg agreed that “information that Bosnia is threatened by war” was untrue. “This isn’t about any sort of war, the situation is being overdramatized, I don’t know to what end.
